Why does friendly melee interrupt Capturing of Points as well?

    Hi devs, I think this is some new form of abuse... friendly melee can interrupt Tacticals or equivalents from properly capturing or interrupting Caps. I reckon this should be fixed to prevent abuse from disruptive players during critical points in time of game play.

    Because it's a stagger. It's not like someone sat down and hardcoded it into the game: melee applies stagger and stagger interrupts capture, thats just how the game works.
    This isn't something they can fix.

    Whether it is fixable is not for me or you to say, that is the point of telling issues to the devs in this forum.

    Someone had to sit down and create this ..
    This just doesn't magically appear in your code..
    A human had to decide one day that these things would affect teammates.
    You know these effects can just be turned off for team mates right ?
    They probably don't think about turning off the stagger effects when they turned off friendly fire for melee.

    Its not as simple , melee applies stagger , ennemies or allies it doesnt care it isnt a variable
    We can fix melee attacks interrupting cap but its gonna be for ennemies and allies alike(like the revive cancel that got fixed) , we could make it so ennemies still stagger but it would require coding

    If it were up to me, friendly melee would cause damage too. . .
