We'll see who left standing out on the battlefield, stripling.
Perhaps you can muster half of the courage I saw that day.

I like chaos because some days its fun to play each side like a coin toss so you can play both sides and have fun.

I joined chaos for the camping, picnics and the chance to learn knots and fire-starting...no wait, that was the boy scouts, nevermind

You don't exactly "join" Chaos, it's not like it is a choice you make. It's rather a waiting game, you on the one side, and the dark gods on the other, knowing that one day you must realize that there is nothing more to this galaxy than chaos... neverending chaos. And cookies! Boy, I love my damn cookies!

I want to first say, awesome opener XD.

It use to be I followed the Space Marines. Back then I was still new to the lore of Warhammer 40,000. But as time went on I started learning more and more about the back story. Eventually I decided to turn to Chaos in favor of the Word Bearers Legion. I played DOW: Dark Crusade and read the Word Bearers trilogy (Dark Apostle, Dark Disciple, & Dark Creed). This fueled my interest because I found them to be the more passionate and zealous of all the Chaos Legions.
More over I was very sympathetic to their Primarch, Lorgar. He was the most faithful and loyal of all his brothers, he ensured that any world subjugated to the Emperor was done in a timely manner. He didn't just conquer and leave a planet like his kin, he made sure that Imperial dominance was anchored in before departing. But when his father, the Emperor, humiliated him not just in front of his own legion but in front of his rival brother Guilliman. Well that was not cool at all. The Emperor may have been a power figure head and brilliant man of genetic engineering, but he sucked as a father.

So why I follow Chaos is because I have come to learn the Dark Gods are honest about their promises. Unlike the Emperor who lied not just to his people, but to his own sons. I will not follow a leader who deceives his own.
I follow Chaos because it IS THE TRUTH! Neither God has tried too lie about what they are. Khorne demands blood and skulls in favor of championship and recognition. Nurgle gifts his followers with immunity from pain and grants them immortality in exchange for carrying his plagues. Tzeentch never hides his secrets, in fact he practically welcomes any to his knowledge and is keen on changing events to his design. Slaanesh encourages perfection and heightens the senses of his followers so they can obtain a higher state of awareness. If only to be fed a few souls, preferably Eldar.
  8. In my soul i have always been a Warrior of Chaos.

Ever since i started playing Warhammer: Age of Reckoning i was drawn to Chaos, i felt like a badass playing as a Chosen. Half a year later i came across the epic and badass Warhammer 40,000 universe. At first i liked the Imperium, i actually even thought that the Imperial Fists were my favorite legion, but soon i realized that time would show me the error of my ways. As i read more of the 40k lore i slowly but surely found my way towards the armies of Chaos, eventually i had a new favorite, the mighty and brutal World Eaters, the sons of Angron. While the World Eaters are an amazing legion both in their prowess on the battlefield and in their devotion to Khorne the god of blood and skulls, their personality did not fit me. I wanted a legion that was both strategically intelligent and swift as well as brutal. I wanted a Chaos legion that was brutal and ruthless, but at the same time not maniacal and berserker-like. So i moved on, in search of a legion of my own calibre.

That is when i found the Iron Warriors.

Ruthless in their brutality, intelligent in their strategy, the sons of Perturabo are as strong-willed and of iron-resolve as a well-oiled machine. It is they who formed the backbone of the Great Crusade, they are the ones who build the mightiest fortresses, the mightiest siege weapons, and the hardiest warriors. They were the warriors responsible for the legendary sieges of attrition on alien worlds, their sieges lasted for months on end, constantly battering the enemy with ordnance of every calibre. Mighty as the Iron Warriors are, however, the endless siege-and-trench warfare took it's toll on the warriors of the IVth. The IVth legion was the spine of the Great Crusade, with the Iron Warriors bringing hundreds of worlds to compliance in the name of the Emperor, but the Warriors of the IVth received little to no praise, their deeds were not written in the sagas, the legends, nor did men tell their sons of their legendary deeds at campfire. No, the Iron Warriors dirtied their hands, but the other legions received the credit instead, such as the Ultramarines and the Imperial Fists. When time came of Horus' Great Rebellion, Perturabo was swift in his decision; Dorn's lapdogs would be humbled, the Imperium would shake at the sound of Iron Cannons, and the Emperor would realize the folly of his actions. It was we who broke the Imperial Palace's walls with iron resolve, it was we who set the Iron Cage and nearly destroyed the dreaded Imperial Fists, and it was we who built a fortress on Hydra Cordatus, only to return 10,000 years later and utterly annihilate the Imperial forces there. We are the Iron Warriors and we are Iron Within, and Iron Without

From iron cometh strength! From strength cometh will! From will cometh faith! From faith cometh honour! From honour cometh iron! And may it ever be so!

  9. …just imagine having an orgasm every time you got shot or killed someone… imagine every sensation in life is a pleasurable one to the extreme
THAT's what Slaanesh Offers, and the other three gods all have their own gifts to give
Either way, its a galaxy in constant war with little to no hope for anyone out there, Slaaneshi worshippers are the only ones having a good time lol
  10. them and maybe the followers of nurgle :D
