Why do you not get experience for intiating a capture?

  1. It would make tacticals a lot more incentivized if you got some exp for intiating a capture.

it would also make other players rush for the cap in the middle of a firefight, i feel i'm the only ork who does this when everyone is distracted and not noticing the passive capture slugga.

I do however understand why, its simply to easy to start a capture, as i said before if you come into the room from a flank and don't draw attention you can cap effortlessly, not to mention if you ghost-capped a defenseless objective, however i would like to get some xp for protecting the guy capping like i do when protecting the interrupter.
  3. If that's true then why do you get exp from interrupting? It takes just as much effort. Ghost capping is actually an important tactic to keep defenders on their toes.

Doesn't the person who initiated the cap get xp from it only after it's fully flipped? or was that an "everyone who held the point" thing?

Seems to me that if you start the cap you get 400 when it completes, if you are nearby when it completes you get 200 for cap assist

Exp for simply initiating a capture was probably deemed easily exploitable for farming (start cap, interrupt, repeat, both sides get easy exp every few seconds)
