Why do you personally fight for Chaos? For personal gain, freedom, vengeance, spite, devotion, or a genuine belief that chaos is best for the galaxy.

I've got a pretty rigid moral compass in real life, so my fascination with Chaos stems from my daydreams about life as an amoral, hedonistic bastard. Messing with the Chaos gods is risky business, and there are plenty of aspects of Chaos I'm not too keen on, but I imagine that letting yourself succumb, letting yourself embody the uncaring, selfish, terrifying nature of Chaos, listening to the whispers in your head glorifying every disgusting base instinct you can imagine... would be intoxicating to say the least.
This meant for you own personal reason. Like I was originally attracted to them because of the armor, but I stay because I think there is wisdom in the teachings of Tzeentch. I am not a whole fan of the backstabbing thing, but I do like the philosophy of change.
After an eternity contemplating the universe I came to the realization that humans and our dreams of empire are the source of all our misery. With our thoughts we shape the world and our thoughts are sinful.....greed, pride, wrath, gluttony, envy.....ironically, our flaws are the things which have prevented us from taking over the void between galaxies, we have stumbled blindly too far my friends, it is time for us to begin again. In chaos I have found the perfection of madness, of knowing all things and the sheer wastefulness of such efforts to control the galaxy in a physical sense, of finding satisfaction in such things as profit, ownership and rulership. I fight to bring an end to the pathetic, childlike aspirations of humanity to control the stars as the only option for us is to become one with the greater eternity, to do this.....everything must die. Nurgle will provide us with the release that leads to eternity, I am burdened with the work of freeing all other life from its mortal chains. My work will continue.
i fight for chaos because its fun extinguishing thousands of lives with one order to your warriors and they look cool aannnddd you have the chance of becoming an immortal daemon prince and slaughter everything for eternity
I fight because it's the path to glory. I am not just another marine serving blindly until death with no reward, I will fight for my own infamy, holdings and immortal legacy. Life in the warp is a small price to pay for actual freedom.
I fight to kill stuff and appease my lord so that he may gift me with things that will allow me to kill more stuff.
