Problem is if not EC we all could just meet together, having beer and telling jokes without any animosity. But couse EC some call people "shitposters" or "trolls" couse they are not agreeing with someone opinions. And more time I am here I see devs are not seeing us as ppl. I am talking about basic respect. Adressing our issues, saying "sorry" for their fuck ups. Mods also not giving us some basic respect. They are here to care about language and insults etc. Not limiting our opinions by closing threads without any comment. If you see two persons just discussing even if you don`t like what they are discussing about you don`t just come at them saying "Shut up".
Mods should be lifeguards... Thread is about some acting like lifeguard with grenade launchers. He sees something he don`t like and start launching grenades at it. Killing everything nearby rather than take care about certain person violating the rules... And when everyone is dead and rest are looking with shock at dead bodies mod is saying "Ok. done! I restored peace"
Lol I don't mean this in an offensive way but in this metaphor I think you are a group of King Canutes desperately attempting to stop the inevitable and insatiable tide.
Sure they are, and there is no animosity intended in this thread. I'm simply bringing up a point about certain things ive seen happening for too long now. Just because I think moderating or parts of development are being done wrong, doesnt mean I hate people. It's not personal, I brought this up, im interested to see what others have to say or how they react, and maybe something good and/or clear comes out of this. For example: if Katie would say: "lolwut, i dont see any problems here!" then I know whats what and that things will never change for the better (imo at least, remember, this is purely from my pov) and just stop bothering alltogether. Or perhaps it can provoke some thought about if things the way they are is really the best way to handle things. I can understand that it must be unpleasant for Devs to read negative stuff, but when the game is in this state, you kinda gotta expect negative opinions to be out there. So in an ideal situation we can use this thread to EXCHANGE IDEAS instead of playing yes/no ad infinitum, and come to a point where the relentless bitching/defending stops, and we use this time and thread to come to a more efficient way of letting ALL viewpoints be heard but in a civilised constructive way. This could potentially make life easier for everyone involved.
