Why do the devs hate ork?

    Are you seriously trying to talk down to me? It is to laugh!

    I use two loadouts in my games 90% of the time which are both slugga boys: one with a shiny choppa and the other with a power klaw.

    Guess what the power klaw is for? So yes, I have punched many wave serpents to death.

    Are they annoying? Surely. They suck for everyone to deal with mostly because if they move even a tiny bit in your direction you get ran over.

    That isn't a problem with the Klaw. Power fist has just of an annoying time. Everyone is aware of the road kill machines Eldar have.

    Rokkit against a moving wave serpent? Why would you even bother trying? Bust out a Zzap cannon or a Deffcannon!

    It makes about as much sense as trying to melta a moving serpent now (which is a bad idea because it doesn't do much and you just get ran over).

    Difference is Runt; SM and CSM also have melta, MultiMelta and working melta bombs. No marine uses the PowerFist to wreck Eldar vehicles, because they don't have to.

    Lol good luck hitting a moving WS with a Kannon Deffgun.

    The Zzap Cannon is our only option, and it is rarely taken because it serves no AI purpose. The Melta, MultiMelta and Melta Bombs on the other hand can all be used against infantry with some success.

    Melta is infinitely better than the Power Klaw at dealing with Wave Serpents, why? Because you don't have to touch them and as soon as you touch them you die.

    Alright we've clearly come to an impasse because you seem to believe with out a shadow of a doubt that meltas are just that good.

    Let me tell you that is not the case anymore. It used to be before the recent hot fix. Now they are good but not godlike.

    We have melta bombs too you know they are just bugged. Not sure how long you have been playing but back in early Alpha melta bombs were never used due to similar issues the super stikkybombs are suffering from right now.

    It'll get sorted out so whining about melta bombs is pointless.

    Also, I have destroyed moving wave serpents with a deffcannon. Learn to lead your target.

  4. They are still that good. People still just do suicide runs up to vehicles and melt them, or just cart around in transports, pop out and melt it.

    Aaaand orks have little to no AP. Rokkit launcher and kannon is just gimped plasma. Plasma can damage vehicles and is still amazing against infantry. And plasma/rokkit launchers kind of suck anyway.

    ...Our melta bombs have been broken for multiple patches. MULTIPLE PATCHES. While space marines M bombs have been fine. All they have to do is just copy the space marine melta bomb. Nope, they've done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. A grand sign they'll fix it, EH?

    Look, git. The melta bombs being buggy is not Ok. And you know what will happen if everyone says fuck all? Fuck all, that's what. Nothing ever gets done if you do nothing about it. And it'll only ever get solved if you try and fix it, and keep trying until the problems solved.

    Runt believe what you want, I'm sick of arguing with you. I have many, many hours in the game and I also played early in it's development not that it makes a blind bit of difference in terms of the value of my opinion.

    As KJ said above, the Kannon Deffgun is a gimped, one shot Plasma.

    Our Melta Bomb is worse than the equivalents.

    This is starting to show now, I've played a few games where we were defending as Orks and just got swarmed with vehicles and we couldn't destroy them quick enough. You will see and you will learn.

    Agreed, there is alot of Salt going around,

    But you cant deny there are also alot of glaring errors right now for orks

    Really its a combination of both that is ruining it for all of us

    Yea we are still winning i can not deny that i mean wow so team work has suddenly shot up for some reason,

    besides from a few games ive won most of my games as well but it really hard going, ultimately i shouldn't really complain as its giving me a nice advantage of learning and when the game is sorted and everything is fixed and properly balanced us orks will have the advantage
  9. What's ironic is orks in tt game have tankbuster grenades and burnaz...

    But still the biggest issue for me remains WAAAAAGH on fortress maps. If we are defending being unable to revive is not a special skill, it's a penalty. As it kicks in we lose tickets too fast. It should be deactivated in fortres defence.

    I'm well aware we have problems but they aren't nearly as bad as other people point out.

    Games I've lost today were from bad team play. Never have I said "man if I wasn't playing Orks I would of won!"

    We're only a few months old so there are tons of problems still needing to be addressed but it's not like we're so bad it's always an uphill climb. The amount of times my team has completely stomped in a game is telling of that.
