I mean is not a bad game! Not a good one also for sure! Just enjoy what you got, hope for the best, maybe in the future this becomes a really good game! Worst case scenario? You lost 40/50 dollars. Or maybe more if you are a founder. In the meanwhile I can hear the sound of dakka, do some rokkit launcha executions and maybe banter against my enemies.
Nimrock do you have an Ork handle called "Nimdok"?! I killed with you yesterday if so! I agree with you that there could be more in terms of gameplay (though it is enjoyable it could be deeper), customisation, campaigns and the persistent world element. Also I think that the PvE element could be expanded. But imagine, just imagine how good it will be when these things are in?! If you're really enjoying it now, imagine how much more you'll enjoy it as it expands! Also I like this steady progression and addition of new systems, it renews my interest just as the game starts to get stale.
Yeah now I think about it the pound has dropped down in value but still it's kinda a pain, especially since the game was £32 on release then went to £40 a few hours after launch, I find that part pretty scummy, perhaps the devs were like oh shit brexit is going down better increase the price so we can keep the boat going, man I hate living in the UK
Is this game perfect at this stage? No, of course... But I'm having tons of fun playing with my guildmates and I can't wait to see the new contents that will come in the future. I also appreciate a lot the weekly streaming, never missing an "episode" I stopped played several other MP games to play more Eternal Crusade because I'm enjoying it a lot, I'm not disapointed at all
If you had followed the game at all or read the most recent news at launch day, they said that the early access price would end a few hours after launch. It was known well ahead of time. It wasn't scummy you were just uninformed.
Not me. My ork name is MotORKhead. Played one or two matches as ork from release. Man... I know how good this game could possibly become. I bough it from that promisse. But at release I am still here with not much more than promisse "couse they have 10years plan". I`m with EC for about 8 months. Everyday. And seeing how devs are strugle with every step... fixing bugs, implementing content that is cousing another bugs they are fixing... I just see that to get what I paid for I need to wait a years. And right now it is highly doubtful that they will be able to continue supporting anddevelopment for so long.
I enjoyed playing it because I felt the need to zerg my way to Rank 5 on my LSM. Now I don't play as much since: A - I've done all the content more than enough times B - I don't want to grind matches for boxes with gear that is not visually appealing or gives me a big advantage C - I have no further way to significantly develop my character D - Quite frankly, there are better games out/coming out now to play so my time is split. I want to play more, but I'm already on the 'waiting for more content' train.
