    The Draenei did what now?

Azeroth figured out Orcs were from another planet and not another dimension when they sent an attack force to Draenor through the Dark Portal in Warcraft 2. What they found on the other side... if it didn't make it clear they were on another planet instead of... however the hell you can be "from another dimension" yet choose to exist in only three spatial dimensions with no negative repercussions or any innate abilities suggesting you can move through a spatial dimension three-dimensional beings cannot perceive... they really have no business speculating on astronomy.

Also, at that time the Draenei were still hiding in Zangarmarsh, avoiding all contact with any sapient species who might reveal their survival to the Orcs. The first time the Alliance had any sort of meaningful contact with Draenei was in TBC when the Exodar crashed into Azuremyst and a few nearby Alliance ships decided to see what was up. Lucky they didn't crash near Durotar, as they'd've more likely run into the Orcs than any Alliance race, and, well, things would've gotten bloody, as most Draenei have never forgiven Orcs for the genocide they committed in the Legion's name.

Also, the Blood Elves haven't controlled Tempest Keep for years. Raid groups killed every Blood Elf present in tier 5, and although the fate of the fleet after the demise of Kael'thas isn't actually stated anywhere, the most likely scenario is that they are back under the control of the Naaru. Naaru ships also do not travel through space whatsoever, as they are not airtight in any way imaginable. Instead they basically travel through an extra spatial dimension and appear in the atmosphere of the destination planet. Eldar Craftworlds are full-fledged starships.

I came here for thread title content. I got a goddamn treatise on Bli$$ard's writing.

If you came into this thread expecting a good, useful conversation about Eternal Crusade based solely on the thread title... that's dumb. There's no other word for it. The only reasons you'd want to be in this thread after reading the thread title are:

    -To trash-talk Eternal Crusade.
-To argue with people trash-talking Eternal Crusade.
-To bask in the conversations of the previous two options being indulged in by others.

Neither of the first two are particularly good. The third... well, that's not good either, but there's a lot of pages of conversation you can read before the conversation somehow turned to Starcraft and Warcraft.

    Who told you that?

titans are born from planets souls.

azeroth is the last world souls. azeroth is litterally an egg.

the voids lords with their servants the olds gods try to corrupt azeroth and make him/her a dark titan.

sargeas created the burning legion for stop the voidlords, he want to destroy azeroth for avoid the danger ofa dark titans: azeroth is going to be more powerfull than sargeas.

sargeas killed all the titans because they don't shared sargeas plan of destroy all for stop the voidlords.

the army of light (naruu ect) fight against the legion and both have spaceships.

with the recent retcon and reordering of warcraft chronicles wow is stepping away from warcraft.

what thry still have in common is the constant citation of others mithology and legend, but that can't be considered coping each others.

No one. It seemed pretty obvious.
Also, Titans are the size of planets now. There's canonical artwork of Sargeras literally cutting a planet in half with his sword.

Which of course, begs the question. Titans are too large to stand on any sort of planet without destroying it. Why do they have legs then? Legs would be useless since they can't walk on anything and their means of interstellar travel would not require legs.

Secondly, Broxigar supposedly used an axe to make Sargeras's shin bleed. That made sense, sorts, when Titans were merely the size of large buildings. If Titans are the size of planets, how the hell could Broxigar wound him at all, much less enough to cause any pain, as he could sink his entire axe blade into Sargeras' shin and not get through the skin, much less the armor in front of it. And Broxigar is actually canon now, as one of the scenarios in Legion takes place during the War of the Ancients and Broxigar is present, as are other characters from that story.

The thread title is literally, "Why are so many people pretending to enjoy this game?"

There is no circumstance in which a thread title like that is going to be followed by any sort of constructive conversation.

    Too true. Far too true.

Some of us DO enjoy smiting enemies of man and xenos scum. Or slicing foul Mon-Keigh who dare to overstep themselves. Or bringing' da Waaaagh! Or wreaking carnage int he name of the Dark Gods.

Not everyone will. But some do.
