why are eldar considered op?

    I did read what you posted there, I was comparing the two Bolter segments. You put Bolter vs SM and Bolter vs Eldar. I was comparing Bolter to Bolter, same fire rate. Your math showed the Bolter having more time to breach the lower total armor and lower total toughness on the second one.

    I just redid your math for you.

    (1 / (333.33/60)) x 4 = 0.72s to pen Eldar armor

    First part in all the parenthesis finds the amount of time passed between two bolt rounds. Then using your math here:

    157/32.984 = 4.7 Shots

    I then use 4 in the time window because it's 5 (since you can't fire a fraction of a bullet) shots to kill, but the first shot has no time lag, so for 5 shots to fire only 4 of these refire delays will have occurred.

    Edit: Adding the Eldar section, had to tab back into game for match so posted earlier without finishing.

    167/15.32=10.9 Shots

    Above is your math for shot count vs a SM.

    (1 / (750/60)) x 10 = 0.80s to pen SM armor.

    Then this doesn't even factor in the time to take out the HP on either target, and the SM having higher toughness will take longer there as well.

    This. In current meta when all game modes rely at capping bo's and running between them it tottaly destroy any pleashure from game when one fraction got so obvious advantage and can cut out flow of enemies so easy without aby noticable effort... You just kill that game eldar players with you cheesy tactic even dont know how much. Myself i feel that im every day less interested in partycipating in so shitty gameplay that makes me someone roadkill without any serious way to counter their silly cheesy tactic. Only what keep me still is that im allmost lvl6 & still got last fev 30k chests to open. But after... for truth it will be over. Or Deathwing in fact.

    Eldar had some quite OP stuff, like that SH weapon that was basically on Autocannon level, reaper launcher swarmshot was basically on the current level of plasma cannon but could be spread out more in a larger area. And ofcourse the stacking embolden.

    But currently? Really, only deadly vehicles, free melta is kinda 'op' i guess but not really anymore as there should be enough marines with meltas unlocked in your average game by now to easily take care of vehicles.

    Eldars could be ok if their wehicles will be revamped to cut roadkill fest & bring them to level of another fractions lvl of utility & skill need to proper use (make them turn like all other ones by a,d not by mouse point follow & no strafe) & tone down their armour & toughness as downside to uber mobility, smallest hit frames & weapons effectiveness. Thats all which is needed to me mostly. SH should be balanced too when it got best mobility in-game with still descent dps.

    I don't think Eldar need their armour or toughness toned down at all, they already have lower armour and toughness then a SM. Eldar having 100 armour and 80 toughness compared to SM's 120 armour and 100 toughness. Not to mention the Avengers Rank 4 armour costs 450 LP. gives them 125 armour and 110 toughness but then when you compare it to SM's Rank 3 armour 135 armour and 125 toughness. If Eldar want extra surviablity through armour they have to shell out alot of LP which reduces everything else they can take with them.
    I don't think Eldar tanks should be touched either, their grav tanks, there meant to have faster turning them tread/wheel based vehicles and to be able to move left and right.
    SH shouldn't be changed either, all the other factions get there jump assaults that can go up and then slam down and then just spam away with melee. SH are meant to harss your ass from above, flanks and even your rear and while we can glide around it still eats up 'fuel' so we still got to land to recharge.

    Eldar don't need to be made even squishier so you can kill them in even less hits, There Tanks are fine as they are and don't need to be brought down to act like grounded tanks, SH are meant to harsse your ass because you lot can just go and slam down and instantly spam away melee. What Eldar need really is a larger range of weapons to use, avengers get two types of weapons, SS and HB get chainswords and power swords, DR get three weapons, SH get three weapons, the other factions have a wider range of weapons and some long distance focused weapons.
    The fact we get so little weapon range compared to the rest we could easily be considered underpowered.

    What a LOL... best part is "There Tanks are fine as they are and don't need to be brought down":p

    First part just appear live as just now i downloaded patch which gives Astarates 20-45 armour more so your armour nefr is not needed anymore:p So why thats happend if im so wrong lol??

    & your precious and easymode roadkill farm? I could even change eldar's wehicles in piece of brick for now for good sake of the Game & future of it.
    Did you feeling good with that most of community just hate you eldars mostly because of your tottaly op gamebreaking wehicles as its cut us from basic game's mechanic which is fighting over battle objectives as we cant get to it at all? It is funny to you still?
