Whoever made the call to release this now should never work in games again.

  1. Not to mention that Unreal Engine and AMD don't get along well together. I found that out playing Squad, and switched over to Nvidia, huge difference in performance.

I was pretty patient months ago, during alpha.
The game has now released and I am pissed off.
    My patience has run out.
  3. I used to be an AMD guy, but I got tired of basically being the "Macs" of the gaming world.

Waiting forever for proper support/releases, no thanks,

    Intel it is.

  4. Yeah I know that feeling. I had an older gaming laptop I used since I couldn't afford anything new up until that point. I averaged about 15-20 FPS on Squad with it, then when I got my new computer it skyrocketed to about 50-60. Not to mention everything else ran smoother.

Right, Overwatch is well balanced, but there were a few stupid things at release, they have been fixed.
I haven't touched CS:GO in a while, so fair enough. Realistically, from "launch" to now, counter strike has never been a poster child for balance, but that has always been part of the charm.
R6, no comment, cause I don't know a thing about it outside of reports of hackers.
GTA5 is still a joke for pvp. It's a fun, but please the pvp aspect outside of racing is mediocre.
Bullshit. Special snowflake builds in souls games ain't shit, you get to beat up on mechanically poor individuals with them, but they are not "meta" for a reason.
More importantly I was pointing out to the OP that his examples were not nearly as clear cut as his declarative post made them out too be.

I just not going to bother quoting the pathetic parts of your post.

got to say performance wise i find the game runs fine most of the time, and thats on ultra at 1440p, and by fine i mean 50-80fps using an i74790k at 4.6 and sli 980's, though sli doesnt appear to be working so thats only with one of them, honestly, getting low fps in new games with old hardware - isnt entirely on the developers at some point things simply move on, saying that, i do think this game is far form as polished or as smooth as it should be given its honestly, ok at best visuals, and fairly low res textures.
and on the note of hardware, frankly if you are running an amd cpu right now you are on really outdated tech, even their top cpu's are 4 years old and couldnt match the intel offerings at the time, hopefully zen will bring amd back into relevance and we will get some competition in the cpu market which will drive prices down.

Just to note, all other games currently out using the Unreal 4 engine run great. But that's cuz they are OPTIMIZED.... Something this dev team is likely never going to bother to look at.... Which makes me sad.

  8. Yes because they haven't repeatedly mentioned in other patch notes "more optimizations" and there haven't been tons of people posting about getting better framerates over time.

BUT it needs MORE ... not little bits but huge improvements :( they are doing it just taking said time about it .. no im not a dev / programmer nor do i care how long it 'could' take thats not my problem its the games and the playerbases problem if it is not fix asap - just like many other things ingame - then hmm bye bye paying customers an kiss bye bye to any new ones ...
