So advancements, war gear and levelling shouldnt exist in game because being a higher level and being strong is "unfair"? ok.....I guess you want everyone to get a participation trophy as well Good for him, he grinded and was rewarded by the 30k box. Everyone else can grind and get that gun. Yes I am 100% cool with a strong weapon for someone who puts the time and effort into getting it. Its called advancement for a reason. Im not, we need benefits for people who put time and effort in to advance and grind in the game. Leveling makes you stronger and advancing to get cool shit makes you stronger. Fucking deal with it and level up too. Dont be a puss, you can grind out 30k boxes and get your factions super badass gun too.
Brilliant, let's all run around with guns that can kill in .75-1 second of unskilled body shots. That'll help the games popularity. We're not going for a CS/Quake TTK in this game. Or do you like losing your 2 life max Veteran in the blink of an eye?
Orks apparently have a pistol that can 2 shot you if you aim for head. Quicksilver pattern bolter will down you in 2 bursts to the head and fires rather fast and got no recoil. No idea for CSM though.
War gear will balance out the quick TTK though, it might do 85 damage on a lv 1 toon but on a lv 5 toon with full war gear and or a vet, it might only do 40 damage. When everyone or a lot of people are lv 5s and rolling Vets, that gun wont be "OP" I dont know but if the Devs are smart, they would have put some super bad ass gun in each factions 30k box as well. We'll find out eventually if it exists or not. If no such gun exists, THEN you can complain for the lack of balance.
I have it. It's 300 LP and there's only one round in the chamber. It's a finisher weapon, not a main weapon that has pinpoint accuracy.
What happened to horizontal progression? Starter weapons still needs to be competitive with end game stuff.
