then why did he get beaten by the swarmlord? and no he isnt, a title means a bit but not all that much--the only god of war is khorne.....and so no he is not at all...but he's very powerful, he is on the same tier with every other chapter master
we are talking lore first off and not stats second, stats wise, abbadon is the most powerful character in 40k, second only to the swarmlord.

They have similar names, so I assume they are the same character. Yeah, Gorgutz does lose everytime and again... Yeah, got to agree there. Although the imperial guard (+a little help from the ultramarines) defeated the necrons+Chaos+Orkz on Lorn V
I'm pretty sure the Blood Ravens are from the Thousand Sons. Source. It's nowhere near definitive, but still.
I mean as in, you know how the Firehawks have the same geneseed as the Ultramarines, except with some alteration. It could be same with the Blood Ravens, they could have the same geneseed as the Thousand Sons, but with some alterations.
