oh wow--totally no bias in this post! gork and mork are as real as khorne and tzeentch, you obviously have some reading to do on 40k.
the swarmlord is one...i hate to say it, but kaldor draigo is another....um.....i mean he was already kind of beaten by eldrad....
marneus calgar and helbrecht are probably the same power--either one could win in a duel. Gahgzkull doesnt even realize hes being chase--hes off to start another WAAAHG, abbadon has probably had to go through m'kar as well as the chosen greater daemon of each god to get all four marks...abbadon wins
you sir are a genius. WELL PUT! also, in fluff, hes probably a level four sorcerer in the lores of nurgle tzeentch and slaanesh....though not as powerful as eldrad, hes a very formidable psyker....
read the post about abbadon, gazghkull is THE ork, and being an ork makes you good at fighting...you seem heavily biased by the way and seem to be letting that get in the way (the armless joke is about the miniature--not the actual character, and if you would ACTUALLY READ about 40k, he hasnt failed a single crusade, and one of them was made by angron, not him.) also, according to 1d4chan, azrubadeal vect is a bigger dick than eldrad...
oh my god...go and read the rediculously long post in this thread and it expains that HE HAS BEEN OFFERED DAEMONHOOD BY EACH GOD, AND REJECTED IT! I MEAN WHAT THE FUCK! he knows what the fuck hes doing.
Really? I was reading the wiki on 40k and said Gork and Mork were born from the thoughts of the Orks whose combined mental ability allow anything they want to create to come true. I therefore assume that the gods are therefore not really gods at all but the combined mental powers of a unified horde of savages. But please by all means explain to me how Gork and Mork exist in the world and their bigger picture. Puritans are just itching to explain the lore and shows of their skiiiillz.
You're right, Gork and Mork are created and sustained by the collective Ork psyche. This little different to the now-defunct Eldar gods being sustained by Eldar psykic potential, or the current four (Malal has been renenged IIRC) Chaos Gods being reflections of the collective human psyche. The only difference is that the Ork's psykic potential is exhibited as a group, either through RED GOES FASTAH or their Wyrdboyz tapping into that pool of psykic energy. Gork and Mork are theorized to be two halves of the same basic entity, which is little more than a massive, disparate collective of the Ork WAAAAAAGH! This was explored in a recent Imperial Guard novel: Baneblade. An exceptionally powerful Wyrdboy could tap into "Gork and Mork" and could make mincemeat out of human psykers. He also managed to use Warp-based weaponry commonly found on Chaos Siege engines, except the energy was green in color, and he was planning on creating an Ork-centric Astronomican to rally the entire species and take over the galaxy. I'm not sure if there's any current-codex mention of interaction between Gork, Mork, and an existing Chaos entity. Back in the day, there was a story that Khorne tried tapping into the Ork psyche, trying to draw on their lust for war for his own purposes. However, it ended with Gork and Mork kicking the crap out of him and shouting WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH really loud in his face. Again, I'm willing to bet this was reneged when the Orks were refined in later codicies, because otherwise the Immaterium would get crowded with all these different Chaos Entities. GW probably prefers the four-way struggle between the Chaos Gods to the more complex ones that also include Malal, the C'Tan, the Emperor, Gork and Mork, and the Trickster Eldar god, I forget his name.
