So.. this is how it would happen. All 4 start fighting and Eldrad trips Ghazghkull and he falls on Abaddons sword and dies. While Abaddon is distracted, Calgar kills him. Eldrad goes "Just as planned" and retreats to the webway that was put to that position millenia ago just for this occasion. Chaos gods look at Calgar and mess with his mind to make him their new champion. No one wins really, everyone gets screwed over.
Well, considering that Abaddon has failed thirteen black crusades, I would probably bet my money on Calgar. Eldrad are as per usual a backstabbing filthy xenos, so even seeing him in a battle is a small chance. Ghazgull would have a fair chance in a fight, but i feel he is more reliant on his boyz to do the work for him.
People really don't understand what Abaddon is doing... It's not that his Black Crusades fail at all. Each one isn't meant to get to Terra every single time, they are meant to probe the Imperial lines, strike at weak points, cut supply lines, steal Blackstone fortresses and generally batter the Imperium. He's arguably the most successful warrior in Warhammer 40k. The only one who could put up a fight against Abaddon is Thraka, but at the end of the day he's just a massive Ork with a Power Klaw and a metal 'ead.
But... That... would mean he'd become the ultimate warrior, with the gift of the Dark gods and everything he currently has... O_O
I didnt forget the sentence, it just didnt have useful information to back up my argument, hence the "...".
Abaddon is almost 10000 years old, with a lot of experience and strength.I cant thing of him going down, even from da biggest ork ever.
Considering the Orkz very proverbial powers of mind over matter, I dare to say that Ghazkull is far more than one big mean Ork. Abbadon is the Champion of Chaos, no doubt, but Ghazkull is the Champion of the Orkz, and if the Orkz believe that Ghazkull is strong, than Ghazkull arguably is strong.
I don't think it works like that... If that line of thinking was right, then Space Marines would be weak and easily squished by an Ork and would rule the galaxy already like they think they should, but they don't. The Ork's latent psychic powers are rather strange in how they work. Don't get me wrong, Thraka is a complete badass, but I just don't think he could hold against Abaddon, wielding a Primarch weapon, arguably the most powerful daemon weapon in existence and also has the mental and bodily strength to resist being corrupted/mutated/ascended to a Daemon Prince.
