And you're wrong. The strategic skillset required for games like Dawn of War differs greatly from the skillset required for MMO PVP games like Planetside 2.
Hey guys, I heard they're releasing a new Call Of Duty game and they're going to have clan leaders, I suggest we do a 1v1 on Battlefield to know who to select for our clan leaders before the game comes out, but they've also said theirs going to be a grand campaign and resource management, so we should totally play Star Craft to practise and decide that as well.
I personally think (however odd it may seem), that some of you Eldar players are overthinking this too much. Warcouncil members shouldn't be whoever has the best stats in a fight, it should be very dedicated people who can organize the forces in order to win. It may also do favourably to remember that even with the more "professional," attitude of the Eldar playerbase, you're never going to be able to organize even a large fraction of the total Eldar force. But don't listen to the Tzeentchian. I may jut be trying to subtly lead you all into a trap. Or I might be leading myself into a trap and you into victory. Or I may be rooting for the Tyranids. Who knows, really?
Really don't want the war council to turn into some kind of elite club where the members are "picked". We should really start pushing for more info on how war councils and victory mechanics are intended to work. At least one twitch where we don't see the mehrines poncing about, but instead get an in depth disscussion about the meta game would be awesome.
