Well, just like in the title. Not long ago we learnt that the existence of terminators (and their equivalents from other races) in EC is 'in danger'. Not much was actually said apart from that it's not certain they will make it at launch or maybe even at all and then...not much was said again. I need to have a clearer vision of this situation as terminators (and their equivalents) are extremely iconic figures for me, I can't imagine a proper WH40k game without them but maybe other EC fans have a different view, I'd like to know. Oh and one more thing (if anybody by any chance didn't know)- a terminator is that big guy a couple of centimeters up from this text, aiming at you with a strom bolter (what's he doing in there, maybe he got lost?) :D.

    Meh, who needs em.
I'd rather see them make a solid, well-balanced game before putting any effort into Termies imo.

ok let Me explain you what Warhammer 40 000 Eternal Crusade is about ,: its about to live in the universe of War (w40k) where They wants you to feel like on real war, and on real war specially based on W40k there are many variations -ways to kill and All of them are important, there should be all classes to chose to play (use to kill enemy)
,other way you cant feel like in real grim world of the future terror.
Terminators probably will be coolest to Play but for price equal to Heros.
I see no problem with implementing them into tha game , instead of psychic powers they should have a bit more powerfull weapon than for example Heavy Bolter , and a bit more HP just like Devastators with Iron Halo but without it ,and they would start to increase speed from slow to fast so just a bit less mobility.(and additionally you can upgrade them)
So there is nothing to worry about coz its all simple and devs just toying with us telling that :,,we dont know how to not make them overpowered´´, coz they have all strategy written long time ago somewhere on piece of paper ;).

Maybe but I'd be calmer if the devs clearly stated it themselves.
  5. I have no problem with Terminators (And their equivalents) being in the game at all so long as they went the hero route with them and didn't make them a standard class. I could possibly get behind the idea of them being one of the standard classes but that would have to go hand in hand with them being balanced with the rest. Without that balance people would just reroll Terminators because they'd have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

TDA/TEQ should be included and should make launch,

not doing so is a failure on BE's part to live up to a concept they more or less promised at the very start,

not having Dreadnoughts would be a blow as well but they at least were never listed as availible at launch but rather a post launch addition,
the whole concept of the TDA/TEQ was they would fall into the Elite class catagory and Dreadnoughts would fall into the Hero class bracket once added,

    EDIT

consider if TDA/TEQ's dont make launch then neither should Ork Kans, Eldar Wraithguards/Wraithblades or Chaos Mutilators/Obliterators etc

Yes , it would calm My mind to ,Devs should make some notes where they calculate everything for future programing and tell us how it looks like in next Livestream ,he?! maybe somebody should ask them ,could they do that or if already done it.
  8. Can you explain the Elite class for me ? I just got back on the forums and I must have missed anything related to them while I was away. Would you make one of your characters into an Elite class just like you would one of the regular classes ?

I mean, I suppose now that I think about it, I wouldn't have that big an issue with it, the other classes would still have their rolls with Terminators and such falling into a heavy support category. They would still have things to counter them and you would still need the other classes and what they bring to the table. Obviously there would need to be "some" form of balance amongst them all but I'm okay with that now that I think about it.

an elite class costs RP (resource points) to spawn and has a CD (cool down) on death, just like heros but the RP cost and CD are lower,

so an elite might have a CD time of an hour while a hero has a CD time of a day,
an elite might cost x RP while a hero might cost 10x rp
    Psychopski likes this.

It's basically the same, you will need to unlock the elite classes, pay requisition to spawn as them and once you die you will have to wait a cooldown before spawning as elite class again, check the rogue trader store, there are a few elite classes there (eldar outcast, possessed marine, legion of the damned, and cybork).
