horus. he was the greatest overall, but would lose to the other primarchs in their "specialties" he would lose to a fight to the death against angron hes not as powerful a psyker as magnus not as good at siege stuff as dorn or the metal guy would lose to leman russ in drinking and eating...and some specific type of fight i presume not as inspiring as lorgar not as good of a leader as guilliman not as...secretive...or good with swords as the lion not as fast and furious and good with motorcycles/jetbikes as khan not as sneaky, scary, or batmany as ol' haunter not as pretty or genetically perfect or agile as fulgrim not sure of any other primarch specialties...but yea.
Don't you mean Vin Diesel / Paul Walker? Though I kinda agree with Valerius, Horus was the all-rounder. I think that is why the God-Emperor also made him the leader of the whole military, because he had mind for everything, but did not narrow down. Which made him also most dangerous towards the God Emperor. PS: Not as bloodthirsty as Sanguinius ^^
Roughly quoting Betrayer by Aaron Dembski-Brown "I have seen the final conflict where the Angel stands watch over the gates; amongst our forces there are only two who can match his fury; one is you [Horus] and the other our dear brother [Angron]" Infact it was frequently stated that Horus was a master in all things the most highly revered and respected of the Emperors son he eclipsed Gilryman as a leader and unlike Girlyman (who was reviled by a large portion of his brothers) was capable of commanding the respect and loyalty of all 17(18) other primarchs.
amongst our forces...so sanguinus was only able to be matched by horus or angron...but horus just kind of took a shit on him...through his foot..?
Horus was infused with the power of chaos at terra. Not a single one of his brothers would have stood a chance alone. Horus feared sanguinius, the chaos gods wanted sanguinius over horus, but I'll assume you knew that. Horus was the best and brightest Lion el'johnson the paranoid 1st sanguinius the angel, a gift of foresight vulkan the everliving, strongest of all alpharius omegan two bodies one soul, masters of deceit perturabo master architect, master demolisher Rogal dorn, close range actions, seige warfare Konrad curze, nightmare corvus corax, the shadows leman russ, temperment of a wolf ferrus manus, craftsman and brutal fulgrim, perfectly flawed Jagathai khan, lightning fast Roboute guilliman, master logistician mortarion, a virulent anvil upon which tyrants are broken angron, the broken gladiator lorgar, the zealot magnus the red, scholar, wielder of warp magicks
the final battle Sanguinius and emperor teleport onto Horus battle barge, they land seperated and must fight their way through chaos warped coridors full of monsters demons and trators, sanguinius reaches horus first probably a little bit tired from already killing hundreds of enemy, horus still fresh offers sanguinius a final chance to join him, sanguinius says no thanks, horus now enhanced supercharged with chaos powers squats the exausted sanguinius like a fly and then strangles the life from him, although sanguinius does manage to hurt horus ? causing a chink ? in his armour ?, the emperor arrives a bit more fighting happens, the emperor uses the chink in the armour to defeat horus, it is said that without this chink ? even the emperor could not have defeated horus,,, i believe sanguinius didnt get a fair fight, was not beaten by horus more in fact the combined powers of chaos and even so still managed to hurt horus where no other primarch would of stood a chance, horus himself was shit scared of sanguinius and once admited, said sanguinius was the best and should have been war master,,also by sanguinius's hurting of horus the chink in the armour ultimately won victory for the imperium, in a way sanguinius did win but gave his own life to achive this win...so after all is said and argued, for me sanguinius was the best, he insured victory for the emperor and the survival of his legion, but...if sanguinius was not the best he deserves a lot of respect anyway cause unlike the other primarchs he never failed, which at some time or another all others did fail.
Ironically Sanguinius legion suffered from this event from that day forth. But this was a beautiful piece to read, best summary ever.
