I'm assuming that each book is meant to be biased toward the primarch it covers.

it sounds true after reading about the opposite perspectives i havent read. I usually only end up reading the heretics view since i find them more interesting and would prefer a book where theyre killing more than theyre dieing.

In what book did Lorgar fight a greater daemon of Khorne? I wish all the novellas would be released as regular priced ebooks :( that way we remain up to date on events and those who paid still have their limited edition physical copy.

"Aurelian" , a magnificent piece of literature , focused on our Father's Holy Pilgrimage.
  4. All the primarchs that remained loyal to the Emperor and also died for Him shall have the greatest honours and remembered throughout the Imperium

  5. Lol it WAS perfect. Only an idiot like Lorgar could fail THAT hard. He had the element of surprise, blew up a large portion of the Ultramarines fleet just because they were unsuspected and STILL he managed to get owned and flee all the way to the Eye of Terror having failed at his mission. Imagine what the Ultramarines would have done to the Word Bearers if they actually knew what was coming. They'd still be partying over their filthy corpses.
Btw, as a Primarch that hated Guilliman so bad, i would have at least expected Lorgar to go face Guilliman himself even with his new shiny battleship but no.. He was such a failure as a Primarch that he chose to go kill civilian worlds with his battleship instead of facing his brother. And when Guilliman came for the Abyss, he lost the battleship too. Seriously, compared to all the Primarchs, Lorgar is a total joke. Remember how he almost cried when he encountered Corax at the Istvaan Massacre? It took another Primarch to save his ass :D

So , you havent read Aurelian and Betrayer and still you criticise? Look noob , you dont even know half of what happened and i wont even tell you because talking to smurfs makes me itch. When you read an actual HH book instead of Lexicanum , come back and talk.

I just love it when a fanboy who doesnt know poop about the lore wants to hold an arguement about it haha!
  7. Faced, hardly won or managed to fight them effectively. Lorgar was more distracted with the song and Angron was on the verge of death, being killed by his own mental implants, when they engaged him in battle. One at a time no less, not as a joint assault. The former managed to fight him to a standstill, the latter forced him back with weapons which were effectively blunted and broken. The only reason he survived was because they did not attack him as one last few minutes had them busy with Angron's ascension, giving him time to flee. It's hardly the one sided curb-stomping in his favour some fans try to present it has.

True perhaps, were it not for Lorgar's plan covered in that book. The attack on Calth was something by him to help rid the Word Bearers legion of elements unreliable or beyond his control. Unlike the primarch seen in First Heretic, his hatred was directed towards the Emperor rather than Guilliman. The members of his legion still obsessed with revenge against the Ultramarines were those sent to Calth to either burn out or die. An act which would keep the Ultramarines busy while culling the Word Bearers of reckless or unfocused elements.

I find it sad that all the loyalist Primarchs are ether dead or MIA, but the traitor legion has 6 (now demon princes) to call on if need be. How lame is that?

Not all of them are dead.

They're hardly legions anymore. They're mostly scattered war bands that all have a different cause. Angron and Fulgrim would probably fight each other over cooperating.
