Let me rephrase what I said by your good grace to allow me. It does not sound like this choice was made be the Devs. To me david's confirmations sounded forced upon him and I just don't believe it when he said they would take too much for them to implement into the game.

They would in fact that poll exists because of the outcry for them in the when the first four chapters were announced. People on Facebook and other sites who said anything about the BTs where being calmed down by the prospect that Black Templars would be a choice. I admit I was one of those people trying to calm others. I was under the expectation that they would be an obvious choice to add.
