Which Weapons Or Abilities Absolutely Need To Be In-game For The Orks?

  1. Grouping should still be encouraged. When joining a warband, you can get a stackable buff to your health, defense attack etc. with a maximum stack being whatever the squad maximum size is.

Personally I'd like to see moral effects, it helps instil organization in troops because you gain benefits from officers in your squads, army standards/Boss poles, certain Tyranids and Daemons cause fear and terror.

There's nothing wrong with breaking a Marine squad to cause them to become shaken or even the rest of us breaking and having an old style MMO fear effect on us where we automatically run in a random direction out of control for a few seconds before we have to recover and regroup.

You have to remember unlike other FPS games you are not simply a player this is an MMORPG you're playing a character and benefit from that character's skills and abilities, which are reflected in things like weapon skill, ballistic skill and moral.

Just like Orks but have serious penalties when shooting at range and serious benefits in close combat, moral must alos make a difference, after all the "to hit values" are going to be base on a number generator and not based on simply being able to get your cursor on your enemy.
  3. i really want their to be different benefits to painting your stuff different colors. red increases speed--vehicle speed, weapon firing rate (or weapon reload rate, or weapon switching rate) , perhaps the speed that weapon projectiles travel, painting armor increases speed of walking, speed of attacking with melee weapon, etc.

Yellow is more dakka/more expensive. Projectiles pack more punch, vehicles either have better guns or are more well armored, armor painted yellow is more durable, CC weapons painted yellow have longer reach...?

Purple makes things sneeky. Vehicles painted purple will produce little to no noise when traveling at very slow speeds, armor painted purple makes it so that you travel completley silently and blip in and out of radar, as well as blending in if you are in heavy cover, painting a gun purple is like putting a silencer on it, weapons painted purple are silent

Black is just an orky color. (this encompasses any other colors though that arent listed above.) Painting a vehicle black makes it so that either it has more armor, better weapons, (whichever yellow doesnt do) or perhaps it gains a benefit from the WAAAHG, armor painted black makes you either tougher, or you slightly increases morale or the benefit gained from the WAAAAHG, guns and CC weapons painted black probably just do more damage or, again, gain more than otherwise from WAAAHG.

    HOWEVER,
this is me trying (and failing) at balancing this. You could also make it so that you can unlock/buy paint with teef, just as with any gun or weapon, and you can then apply that paint to anything you want. thus, it wouldn't need to be balanced--it just gives you a slight edge.

Ork currency is and always has been "teef".
  5. fixed XD thanks for pointing that out!
  6. Why not paint it green for 2x the orky?
    Think about it....
  7. i suppose, but i dont want to make it so that players will end up losing out if they happen to prefer black or grey or orange or brown, or any color that isnt covered.
  8. I'd love to see a kustom force field in action, being a single boy in a huge crowd storming over an open field towards an enemy stronghold, watching small arms fire and artillery barrages exploding in mid air, causing the field to crackle into visibility for a moment. I'd also love to be the mek hauling the thing about and shepherding my boyz into action :)
  9. Cigars. Think I win the thread
    Ragansi likes this.
  10. damn. you just might.

WE NEED ORK PIRATES/HATS/HUN ORKS/NAZI ORKS/EVERY TYPE OF ORK!!!

    also...what about pipes? for gentleorks?
