The Librarian is in as a Spec. Class, the Apo is in as a regular class, i'd like to see the lovely Chaplains but not any regular ones, give me the "Interrogator Chaplains"
Had to say Librarian, because they are by far the most unique of the classes. I'm imagining a Librarian single handedly turning the tide of combat, blasting back a horde of greenskins, allowing his exhausted and beleaguered brethren a chance to strike back. And then his head explodes because he rolled snake eyes
I would have thought an Apoc, Chap and Lib would be set in stone as classes (well the Apoc is) Healer, Support/melee buffer debuffer and Ranged DPS/Heals seems like a common troupe, or even simpler Priest Paladin and Mage. I'd like to see an advanced Ranged DPS class so Sternguard for me, mostly because it's not as common a choice as Melee.
Did everyone forget how the developers are going to have the Tyranids focus more on the factions that are doing better? In light of this, assuming that the Space Marines had dominance over the planet, the Tyranids would focus on them to the point where single squads could break the defense of a Critical Area or Monastery. They also said that Hero units will be limited to each faction, and difficult to achieve since they'd require fairly tricky coordination inside of large groups to allocate resources and elect players. They also said the "Super Abilities" have a massive cool-down time (For example, the ability to kill a large amount of players instantly would take a metric ton of resources to cast, then cool-down over the course of a day or more). Also, aren't they adding options for non-base fighting? Pretty sure I've seen the developers talking about going into a random mine infested by Tyranids and being able to clear them out with only a small group for a good reward, or simply sneaking behind enemy strongholds to attack less defended areas in order to draw forces away. It's not that the "biggest faction" will dominate the playing field, it's that the people complaining haven't look for the alternatives to undermine them, rather than to take the direct approach and die rather humorously (Orks). (Also, I choose Apothecary.)
Same as brother Felix. Most badass tactical marines that chapter has to offer. 1st company Sylvester Stallone.
Chaplain I believe is a hero unit, I'm not sure if sterns are I think it would just be a veteran player with upgraded stuff and experience...which is why I voted for them as a specialized class, not a hero.
