Imperial Guard, because I'd love to play a Commissar (as my avatar might suggest). Executing the heretic and the coward all the same with my bolt pistol to their skulls and my power fist raised to the sky, now that's the way to battle!

Also Imperial Guards aren't really that weak as most think, its rather they usually don't have the discipline to keep file with hordes of Ork's rushing em down, but some lasguns on full auto and there's gonna be quite the havoc. And besides, if regular guards to tend to be too weak, they can just have Stormtroopers as the regular unit, there's still plenty of "upgrades" like Ogrins, catachans, commisars etc.

I never got why the Imperial Guard is so popular, they are the futuristic version of farmers given a gun and told to not die in 3 seconds. :p

However they do have really awesome vehicles. (I'm looking at you Baneblade.)

Guardsmen can just be a future f2p class The stronger units would be p2p just like the orks would be.

if they hadn't already been written out of cannon i would love to play Squats being a huge Dwarf fan, but alas i must dedicate myself to the Dark Angels, after the first legion of Astartes everything that followed was a pale imitation of perfection....

Kind of like what they could do with Orks. Stronger you get with a cheap Ork gives you more "bodies" per life.

You become your own little bloody mob! Each one is like a hit point and die accordingly :p Same thing, lets you kit out a "hero" IG and then he's got a bunch of other IG's in his squad that slowly die until you're out of HP. :p

Honestly, what is braver then a man who stands up to fight for his world that is so laughably out classed? Space Marines are given all the good toys and the genetic enhancement, yet Imperial Guard step up anyway. That's some guts and balls of steel.

guts and balls? more like they aren't given a choice, can you say conscription has anything to do with courage ;)

I think Necrons would be an awesome addition to the game, and adds an army that will play slightly differently to the others... Ha, think you killed me? Think again! "Reanimation Protocols/Rez orb/whatever else they use.."

Lieutenant Mira from Space Marine seems to still find her strength regardless. Not all conscripts balk at a duty they'd do anyway or find it abhorrent. Choice or not, many choose to rise to the occasion instead of cursing their fate.
