LSM by far. They don't even realize how OP they are and cry everyone else is OP. The LSM guilds that run around just destroy everyone. You literally just spawn to die horribly. When its LSM pugs... well... they shoot each other, and will start a cap and completely abandon it instead of setting up death trap. They don't make use of 2-3 meltas running around wiping out vehicles. They don't use shield bro's. JPA's, and Tactical Assaults to protect their powerful heavies. it's just a mess, with no strategy. Against pugs, its a 50%/50% chance of getting a challenge. But I always expect to hear sour grapes at the end of the match on every other faction else being the problem. And of course, the plasma spam and JPA spam is just ridiculous.
Eldar are the most annoying foe to face - they usually (with notable exception of really great players) don't present any actual skill in game and just run around with warlocks and banshees and try to spamfest counting on the lag they cause to prevent a defence. And of course abuse the damn vehicle kills...
Chaos. They have all the same cheese LSM do(Melee spam, aoe heal spam, FUCKING PLASMA CANNONS) but they also have sniper autocannons and even more broken lifesteal options as well as poison chainswords. They can just spam melee and sorcerers to win because their melee units can cap. Eldar are a close second, having been mostly reigned in, now I just hate their irritating sfx and the people who play them.
Like the ork said getting killed by eldar is like getting killed by a gang of Metrosexual millennials on their way to a rave. Disco lights glitter and annoying condescending self entitled vfx. Oh, and don't forget getting run over by brightly colored futuristic hybrid cars.
LSM. I literally tired playing against them all the time, besides they're probably the saltiest and most complaining faction in the game.
Unfun to me is eldar. No matter how well balanced they can be now, I just have no pleasure fighting an eldar. I just find their doctrines annoying. But that's nothing specific to this game, I hate eldar on tabletop, I hate eldar on dow 1 and retribution, I just hate them everywhere. The fact they rely so much on speed, mobility and fire power while being squishy makes them a very "troll" race I find. I mean no offence to eldar player, I get that they have some appeal for those that like those combat doctrines. I just don't like their esthetics, their attitudes, their combat style, etc. To me an eldar is just like a mosquito, a wasp or a bee, it stings and annoys the shit out of you because you can never strike them back and they go trolollolol, until you smack them. Then oh, you smack them good, IF you catch them, they are just oh so screwed. So basically every eldar encounter is not a : oh this is a tough game, pretty even. It is always: I completly rape you or you completly rape me. No middle ground. Where is the fun in that? Loyalists are boring in the sense I'm a bit tired of them and sometimes they just are downright stupid with their vehicle management and overall tactics then whine about orks OP -_-' or they troll and laugh at you when you lose a 5 vs 15 game. I like fighting chaos. Good fights, usually pretty tied up until the end. These are all from an ork perspective. As chaos I've actually never played vs orks a single time, but I'd give the same answer. As a loyalist, I have always fought chaos because I haven't played a loyalist since a long time, but I'd assume I'd still find eldar the most unfun. BUT HEY, Eldar players have the right to have their own fun, I don,t get that many matches vs them so I could careless. I want a healthy community where everyone can enjoy themselves. yeah, even eldar players.
Chaos. It is Plasmas and Autocanons, or Melee spam, depending on the map. I don't mind the melee spam too much (Even tho its maybe too good), but faving AutoSnipers or plasma span on fortress map gives me eye twitches. LSM to a second degree, mostly because they also have Plasmas. But also because they complain way too much about everything. Can't have a game against them without them calling something OP after the match is over - even if they had Plasma kids among them. Eldar are easy. The only thing I find annoying is their moving Vehicles (Which are about to be fixed) and x2 Melta FD's. Nothing else to complain here, they are the butter to my hot chainsword in melee. Orks always bring da propah fight. They are the most fun to fight.
CSM, it's pretty much go melee or go home. Plus most CSM just melee death ball points. With their only ranged classes being auto-cannons...
Instead of voting for any of those can I just vote "Melee" as the most unfun ? I only play as a Traitor marine and it is simply painful to force myself to keep playing when I just get dick kicked over and over again. The only defense I have at all is to stay near a low wall or something along those lines that I can vault over when, not if, but when the fast attack melee spam comes my way. Once I vault I either have to run or just keep vaulting over things to keep them at a distance due to the melee lunge covering more ground then me running away full tilt. Can I get a few kills with ranged ? Yeah, but I don't think anyone can seriously and honestly defend things as they are currently. It's so bad that you cannot even defend/attack an objective most the time due to the amount of melee players rushing points forcing you to bolt and literally give up control of said point or stay, die, and they take it/interrupt it anyway. It's just not enjoyable and I feel terrible that I'm forced to just run away from players simply because I stand zero chance to engage them. This isn't a "Git Gud" argument either, it has nothing to do with any level of skill what so ever because yes, there are the rare occasions that you can kill melee enemies on the rare chance you catch them in the open and can engage them long enough to drop them before they find over and close the gap. Melee players can take round after round and they keep coming unaffected at all where I'm stun locked/perma snared once engaged with zero chance to defend myself. The only way to fix it from my point of view aside from a complete overhaul on the melee system would be to force class limit restrictions per squad and only allow extra squads to be created once the prior squad is filled to keep teams from having 20 squads just to allow everyone to play melee. A squad of ten can only have so many of each class to cut down on all the cheese in the game. Limit Devs/Havocs to cut down on PC's, Auto cannons etc, limit JPAs and GAs so that people that don't want to get forced into playing Melee classes due to the meta can actually enjoy themselves. Granted that would mean forcing players that enjoy and want to play melee into possibly playing ranged classes that they may not want to play. I understand what I'm suggesting is a one way street in my favor but things cannot continue this way, it's simply unfair and unfun.
