Mordians are by far my favorite regiment. But I am going to go with the same reason I don't want the Necrons and bug boys as playable they are a faction that needs to work together.... Tanith are to few to be in the game.
- Valhallans, because Space Soviets are awesome - Steel Legion, for that rugged look and armoured warfare - Praetorians or Mordian Iron Guard, for the proper British feeling - Cadians, because they're as "standard" as the Ultramarines, and it'd almost feel odd if they were absent - Xenan Free Companies, because I want to witness the nerdrage that'd accompany the inclusion of an all-female IG regiment
Cadians - They can be the catchall, like the Ultrasmurfs and the Black Legion Catachan - Because stealth explosions Krieg - Because Krieg Elysians - Good with assault troops and stuff Mordian - Because everyone loves the Iron Guard (I wanted to put the Tanith in here but that's Abnett's thing not our beloved authors. Plus if you've got one regiment of Tanith you've got them all.)
Good point, you may be right. I recall having seen eerily similar uniform pictures in some history book... Oh well, hard to say for sure. But in that case, consider my comment to refer to the cliché rather than uniform design.
The Cadians for one. Since they're basically the main icons of the Imperial Guard. The Catacan Jungle Fighters Death Korp and the Praetorian Guard: http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Praetorian_Guard
