Its Alright Most ppl dont know yet So Alpha Legion Huh I never really Understood your legion Or why you Do what you Do
The main reason that the Alpha Legion turned was actually to save the emperor and actually do good for the human race when the twin primarchs had found the Cabal on a planet but its rumored that Omegon was the one that was actually for Chaos and Alpharius still holds true but in a round about way to keep the human race alive.
They are the most secretive which makes me like them the most and you never know the true motive that they have layed out on the table lol. Its awesome but if u read the book Legion from the horus heresy it will help

So beside the stuff that happened 10 Millenia ago, Alpha Legion has not retreated into the Exe of Terror. They spread through out the Imperium and is recruiting and restocking from Imperium territory itslef. You can say destroying from within. The answer to the Why-question now 10000 years after the Heresy well it's just known to the Legion itself. Perhaps we'll read about it. Alpha legion didn't as well...they sneaked into the Great Crusade as they still sneak inside the Imperium. Sorry just had to give my two cents.
