I plan to play Blood Angels primarily. However, I also plan to make a Thousand Sons character when they become available. I'd primary Chaos in a heartbeat if they had Fallen Angels though, which I doubt they'd have as a typical legion, and instead do with them as they did the Fallen Captain.
For me it has to be iron warriors because bionics are something ive always wanted to have as a customisation option to quote a certain legion of false emporer lap dogs "the flesh is weak"
It has been planned for some time that a 5th subfaction will be added to each faction based on a community vote.
One thing I am really hoping for that I haven't yet seen in any digital 40k property, is a noticeable difference in abilities or stats dependant on your choice of chaos mark. The four legions all share the common trait of being undivided themselves, so I am hoping that we get to choose marks as further customization, I just want them to be more than simple buffs (Ie: Khorne giving strength boosts, nurgle giving toughness) and more something that will affect your playstyle and level progression similar to having a different specialization inside your class.
I take it this means we wont be able to customise our armours colour scheme ourselves? I'm currently under abbadons banner in the black legion but it might be nice to fight as a son of horus again.
Yup, you will be confined within the colors of your subfaction of choice, with only little ability to paint around. And i find this totally okay, it will already look like a rainbow out there on the field, no need to make it a double-rainbow. 13. I know were limited to color shades with subfactions so as to keep it obvious to which subfaction one belongs, but how varied will colors be for trim. I play Ultramarines for example but what if i wanted to play 4th company which has green instead of gold trim could i change just certain armor detail to any color? This is the kind of pure cosmetic option which will be available in the store soon. I am under the impresion you will be able to customize your colors withing the allowed colors of your sub faction. So you can customize a bit. But not so far that you can be an Ultramarine for the bonus you want, with Blood Angels colors if thats the legion you actualy like.
The developers realize they forgot the only true legion of Chaos correct? ...... World Eaters had better get added......before Khorne comes after devs...
No Thousand Sons yet, so Word Bearers. If I can't blast it with total sorcery, then I'll just scream at it and condemn it before purifying it with my bolter.
