Not sure if guns are week but ork guns sure are weak. (week-weak ). Welcome ta da foight lad! Howevah yeah, learning the game was a bit hard for me at first because of the way the camera and character interact. I guess it was me bein' confused because of da mekboyz telyportah. Don't use dat. We boyz all did and dat made us come late inta da foight on Orkhona. All them ummies and spikey boyz and panzies were dere before us. A shame that is. they started da foight without us. As a slugga boy, I personally recommand using a electrified choppa axe with some kwik slugga or automatik one that costs a bit less with some toughness wargear/armor. Don't use any ork shoota (from shoota, big shoota, rokkit launcha), so far they aren't really on par with other classes, it is known from the devs they just haven,t reworked it yet because of changes to UE 4.12 plasma deffgun on loota is your go to shooty weapon. accurate, fast, okayish vs vehicles given enough time. great vs marines. Apart from that, our painboy lacks abilities (they come next patch), so they are UP compared to warp based casters. shoota is weak slugga is good but need to fight close so flank or get loota to cover you, use dem truck. dont move in the open. use cover to hide your movement. don,t forget you can change squad in the menu, you can do that even while you are still alive, always try to be in the most numerous squads, it helps with making best use of transports for everyone. don,t be in a 2 man squad. aim for 5+ melee is a bit hard at first if you don,t know the counters, feel free to ask for tips on your team or perhaps even just ask for someone to practice with you around your spawn. someone will likely help. It's easier to learn by doing it then if I just explain you how on a forum. If you are orks, Da lead Belcha (DLB) and Da 'ard waaaboyz (WBZ) if I recall correctly, are the two most proeminent ork clans. I personally haven't joined one yet because I lack proper tools of communication (that is, a microphone and headphones) and am not sure of how much commitment I wish to put into the game. However they do seem like a great bunch and are very funny. Visit the ork forums and recruitment sections for more info. killa cans mekboyz and otherstuff like that would likely be a special xpac post-launch with everything techmarine equivalent, that is: something nice for vehicles/builder/mek classes equivalents. I can't give dates. we have none. But we will have some elites at launch, likely TEQ 3 months post launch, I'd expect to have meks equivalent in the year to come. They are, after all, a big part of ork society and will likely be useful when we get vehicles customisations, manual repairs, constructibles or otherstuff like that. I likes what i'm erin. Yous da good one Doc Orkus Porkus. Thanks fr the tips i'm a twitch shooter mostly so there is a high learning curve. One thing fr sure is it does feel 40K and i'm loving every fight.
Wonce u get uzed to da big shoota it canz actyally b quite gud at killin stuff! Go in from da back an shoot dere heds off! Flank em! Don't leave cova, let ur melee lads do dat! Dodge an shoot melee classes for lots of laffs! (Shudn't a brought a knife to a gunfite!)
I really didn't much enjoy the first 20 hours of this game, at all. Then when I "figured it out" it was like an epiphany and I havr 550 hours to date enjoying the fuck out of it. That said the Ork faction is incomplete and underpowered. But if you wanna rack up the kills use an electrified choppa or that rapid fire plasma machine gun.
