    Agran looked over the shrine and the enemies and growled a little, seeing especially the vehicles amongst the ranks of the traitors. No astartes, though, and as they could see no deamons. He brought up his missile auto-select on the HUD and readied his weapons, though before he decided on a starting loadout he looked over to his captain. "Brother-Captain Lupus. Would you have me focus on disrupting their ranks, or destroying their vehicles?" he asked, as either a frag or cluster barrage would work quite well on the troops, but he could easily get some kraks breaking that armor.

    "I entrust you with the men's honour then; I'll be sure to scold then if the Command Squad gets a higher kill count." He said jokingly - he never had boasted on how many he'd killed, even if such things were for his rank, quite adequate - none would question his martial prowess at the very least.

    Soon enough, he gave a nod and made his way towards the drop pod, 'tossing' Pridefury up into the air and grabbing it by the haft just under its large hammer head before resting himself into the Drop Pod with the rest of his friends.

    "Remember," Brendar said through the squad Vox-link, "We are to show no quarter. If we find those who were previously our brethren on their side, then we will end them as swiftly as we end any daemonspawn."

    From there, he gave a small countdown to launch through each of their HUD's, linking his Machine-Spirit into the inter-Company link as well and giving the final numbers.

    5
    The locking mechanisms in the drop pods all clicked and strapped themselves against the launch bays one by one.

    4
    Men straightened their backs and held their weapons close, as the lights within dimmed and died out, being replaced with their lenses brightening to compensate.

    3
    Vox chatter from the ship's crew and servitors were heard as the docking clamps were unhinged from the drop pods, lowering them down into their designated hatches.

    2
    The sound of muffled depressurization was heard from outside each of the many drop pods, the mighty ship tilting by mere degrees to get the right approach angle.

    1

    "FOR THE IMPERIUM!"

    Brendar's voice rang clear and true through the company Vox as the Drop Pods all were launched down to their assigned destinations. Minutes of tense jittering within the drop pods went by as they all awaited their landing; the Captain mentally calculated the precise moment for the change of direction from the rest of the company towards the Manufactorums.

    A single 'tap' of his boot against the drop pod's floor at that moment and the Vox-link with his squad was filled with a pleased hum; yet again feeling a bit pleased with himself.

    Still, not long afterwards a loud 'crash' was heard and felt, the captain's bones feeling as though they were being hit by a chimera. Of course, he had little time to complain as moments later, the doors opened and slammed down upon the ground, dust kicking into the air.

    His Emerald-green lenses flashed alight, his mighty Gravis armour leaving footprints into the ground as he stepped out of the Drop Pod and into the clear sky. A slow turn of his head to either side at the other squadrons that had come per his instructions, before looking forward amongst the countless heretics ahead of him.

    A moment of pity came across Brendar as he saw them - disheveled, ragged, frantic, in a frenzy. Men and women of all ages. It was almost saddening to see how so many had fallen to Chaos, pledging their lives to a God they may never even be acknowledged by; what had gone wrong?
    What in this world had forced their hand to such malevolent beings??

    He crushed that thought with ease and tightened his grasp on Pridefury, soon pointing forward with his talons upon the enemy.

    "A fine welcome party for us, Brothers." He called out, not even bothering to link with the vox as they could hear him just fine. "Return the greeting in kind!"

    And so, he'd stroll forward with grace, his hammer in hand and his lightning claw ready to eviscerate the enemy; he wouldn't wait for his squadrons to follow him, instead knowing they would do as they were trained to do.
    May the Emperor shield me this day from boredom. He thought to himself, tossing his thunder hammer up slightly to grab ahold of it by the edge of the haft. Today shall be filled with carnage, he knew.

    Levos Endus said little on the way down to the planet. In truth, there was little to say, even to return the warcry of his captain. However, he did give a dry laugh at the captain's order, before he opened the vox to speak over the noise of re-entry. "Quarters? Captain, I volunteer to personally execute anyone that shows any quarters to these scum. They gave up their humanity the moment they embraced treason, and therefore their right to exist." Eyes looking over the battlefield statistics of the ground troops below, the Lieutenant clutched his fists in anticipation; being so near the enemy but unable to spill their guts and blood so far made him uneasy. Fortunately, that was all about to change.

    His armor adjusting to the impact of the drop pod so he felt little, Levos charged out of the drop pod, even as Captain Brendar called out to the rest of them. As much as he would like to charge headfirst into the mass of men, women and even a few children in front of them and turn them all into examples of what the Luna Legion did to traitors, the tactical side of his mind forced his attention to the vehicles present. While relatively few, they could provide enough fire support to take down some of their brothers, and that was unacceptable. Hearing their aggressor battle brother asked for direction without getting any instructions, the Lieutenant responded. "Brother Agran, if you would be so kind as to see to those traitor transports' affront to our eyes and the Emperor with their continued existence, that would be much appreciated."

    Also seeing the captain letting the squads do what they would, Levos patched into the hellblaster squad's vox. "With me brothers and on the sentinels! Now we show this faithless filth what true retribution looks like! Now we rise! NOW THEY FALL!" With that, he jump-packed up into the air, before flipping and shooting straight at the group of traitor walkers, intending to close in before they can turn their guns on him or anyone else, and unleash the full meaning of fury upon them. His power gauntlets crackled as they both activated their weapons' power fields, one raining bolt shots down while the other spewed flames as the Lieutenant shot closer to his targets.

    Agran growled a little as he scanned the area, and took into account the words of his Brother Levos. Even as he strode forward with the rest of them, he focused on three Chimeras which were scattered enough around the field. His targeting arrays focused then on the weakest points of the chassis, where a well-placed missile could cause them to explode and create confusion and damage amidst the infantry. And then as he walked, his launchers streaked, firing a pair of Krak missiles at each target to ensure heavy damage, if not destruction. Meanwhile he flexed his fingers, before raising up his hands and releasing blasts of plasma from his gauntlets.

    After coming out of the drop pod Temujin surveyed the area and the enemy forces nearby. While listening to the others he checked to make sure that the reivers and other squads were all on course and schedule before looking for a vantage point where he could snipe from.

    Upon locating one such spot Temujin unslung his modified bolter rifle, switched the toggle to semi auto and got into position his cameo cloak and the armor combined with speed letting him get to the perch unnoticed. When the others in the command squad started their assault he voxed to them

    “I will stay up here and deal with any enemy command and other high priority targets that show up. Also, I will relay information from the other fields and any new threats I see to you. Oh, and don’t waste ammo if you can help it”

    @Vlayden - Captain Brendar Lupus
    @Tamu - Temujin Ogedei - Reiver Veteran
    @WanderingJester - Levos Endus - Inceptor Lieutenant
    @BadDo9 - Agran - Aggressor

    The Intercessor Squads started to move forward on the right and left flanks, making the force seem more impressive and more fluid, making it worthless to throw grenades as they were not a huge force, but rather a surgical strike force.

    On the left flank the Aggressors found a spot on top of a small hill, targeting into the array of enemies in the center, smashing several frag missiles into their rows - but instead of resting on their spots, instead they moved onward with their Intercessor brethren, advancing to push the enemy back into the center, or move around the shrine and strike from the back, whichever was going to be needed.

    The right flank on the other hand worked on close quarter combat, the Aggressors raising their Boltstorm Gauntlets and mowing down lighter armored enemies, while the Intercessors rained fire with their rifles upon the enemy. And those which thought because the primaris marines had no chainsword or other melee weapon on them would be disappointed to find gauntlets punching through their guts or sending them flying from a sideway punch into the cheek. Yet the enemy did not yield and pressed onward, after all - what could 10 individuals possibly do long-term against hundreds?

    The command squad in the meanwhile was going for melee range, save for Temujin who was playing a recon role. From his raised position and modified weapon, he could spot officers within the enemy ranks, barking orders and trying to beat their forces into formation. But that was often a problem with heretics - their huge ego and lack of commissars. Eventually one of the Officer looking mutants, judging by the tentacles coming out of his abdomen accompanied with the badge around his arm, ripped a soldiers head off with his bare hands which got the group organized to fight proper and not see this as just another skirmish. At least one of them understood what the presence of Primaris Marines meant. Though there was also another threat he spotted, making straight for Levos.

    The Hellblasters and Inceptors gathered around Levos as ordered. The Inceptors on the front to clear the path and get the Hellblasters into range. Once they were, the plasma fire was unleashed at one Sentinel at a time. The moment the first one fell, the other ones started to move in as erratic patterns as they could, making it harder for the blasters to kill them. While having to deal with the return fire of Multi-Lasers and missiles. Some of the Hellblasters had to leap into cover, while the Inceptors rose into the sky, attempting to get close and distract the Sentinels, flying in zig-zag patterns and unleashing their weapons.

    Not before long both forces which charged against each other did meet in the middle. Though it was easily a 1:10 outnumbered situation. Which had it's advantages and disadvantages. For example, Brendar Lupus was surrounded by a whole squad armed with chain weapons and well crafted monoblades which might be a danger. But he was not just any Primaris marine, he was the captain. With one swoop of his trusty hammer, half the squad got obliterated and sent flying as corpses, others having managed to duck beneath the blow. His armor gained a mere scratch, before ramming his claw into the offender, piercing heart, lungs and more. The rest just stared up in fear to the demigod, their knees shaking. One was even pathetic enough to drop his weapons and down to his knees and beg literally for his life.

    Levos destroyed a Sentinel on his own, punching right through the cockpit and the pilot. As he jumped off the useless wreckage, he spotted a group of Ogryns storming towards him and the Hellblasters. The squad being occupied with target practice, he was left alone to stop them. The five held each a massive club made out of steel and wrapped in barbed wire. And they were so corrupted, the dark gods blessed them with strength and power that made them even taller than a Primaris Marine. A worthy challenge for a Lieutenant, surely.

    Agran was perhaps moving, but his heavy armor and targeting made him slower than the rest, causing him to fall behind. But that didn't spot him from launching two Krak missile per targeted chimera. Each flying in such high arc, one might think they were going to be a total miss. That was until they corrected their course and blasted right through the armor and into the engine of the first one, simply causing it to engulf in a fireball, leaving a burning metal frame behind and a screaming crew. The second one was pierced in it's ammo supply, causing a severe chain reaction which made it not just explode itself, but causing multiple explosions - shooting metal plates as shrapnel, piercing the forces nearby and either wounding them severely wounding or outright killing them. The plasma was sporadic and eliminated only a handful enemies, as there was quite some risk of friendly fire in his current position.

    And so the battle for the shrine of the fists began in proper fashion between the Luna Legion and the unknown warband of chaos.

    OOC:

    Imminent Area: ~170 Total Lost & Damend (well equipped); 3 Chimeras; 15 Sentinels; 5 Hyper-Ogryns (charging Levos + co.)
    Back-Up: ~700 Total Lost & Damned (well equipped); 8 Chimeras

    Luna Legion Forces:
    Command Squad Lupus - 4 (Brendar Lupus - Captain; Levos Endus - Lieutenant; Temujin - Reiver Vet; Agran - Aggressor)
    Center - Command Squad Assistance: 1 x Hellblaster Squad - 1 (8 Hellblasters + 2 Inceptors)
    Left Flank: 1 x Intercessor Squad (8 Intercessors + 2 Aggressors)
    Right Flank: 1 x Intercessor Squad (8 Intercessors + 2 Aggressors)

    None present

    (As long as I don't mention the Manufactorum or other places - just assume it goes well or at least okay; rather have you lot just worry about where you are than multiple conflicts :))

    Levos Endus gave the signal and the squad he ordered followed him as he jumped into the melee, flamer and bolter firing into the crowd of walking vehicles. His thirst for vengeance against those who had the foolishness to turn away from the Emperor demanded to be sated, and soon it would be. Crashing directly on top of a sentinel, the Lieutenant knocked the walker over easily with the impact, landing on the cockpit before smashing one of his power fists through it, obliterating the pilot and the controls within. Standing back up and hopping off of it, he noticed that a group of corrupted Ogryns began to wander his way, large clubs in hand.

    Seeing that the others occupied themselves with his orders, Levos opened up a vox with the hellblaster squad. "Alpha Squad. Concentrate on eliminating the enemy vehicles. I'm going to give our incoming guests a proper welcome." He began to walk over, before tuning into another frequency, this time to Brother Agran. "Brother, if you get the opportunity, would you kindly take a few shots of these traitorous oafs for me? I can kill them all by myself but I rather not let hubris be the end of me, just in case." With that, the Lieutenant finished his talking, and sped up his walk into a sprint, before taking off with his gravis armor and launching himself at the Ogryns.

    "You wish to turn away from the Emperor scum? Bath in his holy fire then!" As usual, a burst of both bolter rounds and flamer spread before the charging Luna Legionnaire as Levos hoped to set the group on fire before blasting them apart with a double power fist combo. Fighting as an ancient boxer of Terra might, he let loose a series of rapid fire punches, before moving around and using his superior speed to his advantage, aiming not only at the bodies of those in front of him but also at any weak points on their weapons. The Lieutenant would utilize everything from body blows to jabs, hooks, and right and left crosses in order to destroy his target, this contemptible squad of corrupted Ogryns.

    "Understood, brother." Agran responded to his battle-brother right as he loosed the final two krak missiles upon yet another Chimera, satisfied at the heavy destruction he had already rained upon the traitors. As his missile rack began to cycle, preparing to load up more of his explosive payload, he turned his visor upon Levos and his opponents. He was not in a good position to use any of his explosives, as Levos was much too close. However, using his knowledge of the other's fighting style as well as the targeting his helmet provided, he rose up his gauntlets and unleashed a few blasts of molten plasma at the group, focusing on one Ogryn in particular in an attempt to bring it down, rather than just spread damage around.

    "Hellblasters," he called out through the vox as he swung Pridefury with all his might, watching as the traitors flew into a cloud of gore above him and painted the incoming foes with their blood and bone. "Focus your attacks upon the Sentinels."

    His might as a Tactician and warrior both was seen in this day, the talons being brought up to impale a nearby foe and throw the corpse into those that surrounded him, bringing the Boltstorm weapon attached to his lightning claw up and opening fire - seeing to killing all those in the distance.

    He was not done with those in front of him, however.

    "Traitors." He said boldly, the titan looking down upon mortals with weapons bigger than they could dream of lifting off the ground, his hammer crackling with power and his lightning claw raised up, brandishing its flashing talons in a menacing fashion. "Fall as your brother has," He ordered, referring to the one who pleaded for his life, "and your life shall be judged later for your crimes. Rise, and you shall fall as the rest of your kin will. I will not offer this mercy a second time."

    Whether they turned to fight him or not mattered little, for he would step past them and stomp upon the corpse of one of those nearby, now turning his attention to the rest of the battle - his talons tearing through the enemy whilst Pridefury send dozens into the skies, missing portions of their bodies if they were even in one piece.

    "Aggressors," He ordered soon after, his voice going from cold and furious as he was with the cultists to a proud yet analytical tone, "focus your attention upon the Ogryns; show them the might of the Luna Legion and give them no quarter."

    The Wolf would give no quarter as well, casually strolling along as he swung his weapons left and right, thunderbolts smashing upon the ground where Pridefury landed while flashes blinded the unaware whilst his talons did their work, both power fields acting as godly as he was. Mighty thunderclaps that rang out from the boltstorm attached to his forearm sent sudden death at enemies, those who were hit finding themselves with half their torso's missing or entire limbs vanishing in utter agony - or even with no head.

    He was no mere Space Marine - he was a Captain of the Luna Legion, of the Emperor's finest Primaris Marines. He was Brendar Lupus, the Wolf who despite his hate for it, did his ancestry proud. He shall show no quarter, and as he fought forward he held the banner high upon his heroic Gravis Armour's back, his black cloak flowing behind him as he went to work. He did not go with blinding speeds as the Inceptors or Reivers would, becoming a terrifying blur. Nor would he be a faint image in the distance that flashed blasts of death - he would be a clear and plain Angel of Death, not running nor ducking, but strolling.

    Such was his confidence in his and himself, that he saw no need to duck; those who fell to the ground pleading, he would show mercy. Those who did not - whether out of fear for what their masters would do or out of zeal for the heretical Gods, it didn't matter - would be cut down, as would those who tried to 'betray' him by faking their surrender.

    Captain Brendar shall render judgement to them either later or now; he was in no rush.

    Temujin noted the officers or at least what passed for officers trying to rally the unruly mobs but as they were not having much if any effect he didn’t shoot them for he knew that killing them would be useless unless they impacted the battle. His choice paid off as a real officer one that had been mutated arose from the masses and set about to get the damned to fight back, but even then, he waited to see if more would show up. Even if no others did then waiting until the right moment when the damned had become a body and that mutated officer its head would be good, after all a headless mass can still form small effective groups but an organized body with a head will be used to the head and won’t be able to function for a longer period of time if the head is suddenly removed.

    So Temujin waited until he was sure his shots would have an actual impact on the battlefield. Upon noticing a group of corrupted ogryns going towards levos he acted. Three shots to the mutated officer aimed for the heart, the head, and the lungs. Another 7 shots each aimed at the heads or hearts of various other officers and others helping maintain some semblance of order and formations within the damned before he turned his full focus on levos.

    Even as the lieutenant fought in close combat Temujin would protect his backs and flanks, shooting any trying to get behind or around levos along with any that would try to shoot him. Occasionally he would aim for the ears and eyes of the ogryns or at least what passed for such things to make them more likely to hit each other in blindness or deafness then hitting levos. While doing, such might make it harder for levos to predict the ogryns individually it should make it easier for him to deal with them as a whole.
