Ohh come on brothers we all know that all their relics are *gifts* from every one across the imperium!, i mean look at that freshly painted land speeder aahhh! you can smell it!, it used to be blue before they got it from the ultra marines who strangely went missing after the victory tea party they held at their strike cruiser......Mmmm now that i think about this blood raven vessel has alot of *U*s in it....surely just decorations! how lovely!

Ah, Blood Ravens the kender of the WH40k universe.

They are hopefully annihilated, and any other ending other than the Space Marine one in Retribution is considered canon. I wish we don't ever see them again.

All dead one could hope, or better yet, maybe they can join Chaos so we can just wipe them out for good. ugh...

Well, actualy they have a really good chapter history.
I think main problem with them was not the chapter itself but the game developers approach to the 40k universe.
Other than that, depends on when the EC will take place. If they make the game set in the same time with DoW games etc their absence can easily be explained. Other than this, in the end chapter was created and later considered canon for the sake of a game which is created by other developers.
Also, their selection of 4 or 5 subfactions, in this case marine chapters, are related to the popularity. Space Wolves, Blood Angels, Smurfs and lately thanks to the new shiny book they got Dark Angels seems/considered as popular. Also there are still other popular chapters and they are also first founding chapters. Why is that important you might say? SM codex chapter tactics i would say. Therefore for more iconic gameplay i would say they are not included.

how can the Custodes be heretics? that doesn't even make any logical sense.

He's talking about the fact that the Blood Ravens have armour dating back to the Horus Heresy (which they somehow acquired... probably through heretical means.) and for some reason kept it for themselves rather than handing it back to the Custodes so they can re-use it or honour it or something.

Ah, I always just looked at it like they just scavenged things because they're gatherers and hoarders. I guess whether or not the way they gather these things is heretical is on faith really, maybe Kyras just had them and such, no idea. The chapter does seem very close to the edge of chaos.

Relic's not dead, then ravens might come back... though I'm not that thrilled with impatience (I'm more interested in SM2) any upcoming DOW3 game would definitely feature BRs.

At the moment I think Relic is supporting COH2 only, due to manpower reduction, we might know more about a possible DOW3 when COH2 first expansion is hot and ready.
