Yes, which is what makes Sindri awesome. But, Blood Legion of Khorne and all. They honestly could have named it anything else that doesn't have the name Khorne in it and I'd be as happy as a pig in mud, but it seemed like it was a bit of fluff that they couldn't help but shit on for no other reason than Khorne seemed pretty cool.
Khorne is just a cool Chaos god from the get-go. Tzeentch is my favorite and Slaanesh is taking Nurlge's place for second. Khorne is my last in terms of what matches me but I love his flavor overall. He's an easy god to like with all the battle cries and blood lust.
This has always been true. But making your chapter from traitor geneseed without a legitimate reason for doing is seen as very much being in bad tastes. Blood Ravens tend to get away with it because there was solid build up for their connection to the Thousand Sons. It was hinted at, then hinted more, then many people feel it was hinted too much. No other chapter can say with as much certainty that they were derived from traitor geneseed. And no, Minotaurs, Carcharodons, and Red Scorpions do not have any evidence of traitor geneseed. Picking fights, having white skin and black eyes, and seeking perfection are not unique to World Eater, Night Lord, or Emperor's Children geneseed in any way.
Personally, I would prefer maybe voice actors being the cameo appearance. Unless Blood Ravens are included as a Chapter, I think seeing the important characters would be silly. They should be out rebuilding their Chapter, not making face time.
I'd like to see a squad or so of Blood Ravens. I dont care if theyre claiming other chapters wargear and their statistics in fluff are wack, i like them. The squad could easily be a group of marines presumed dead, left and forgotten or possible a few squads who abandoned their chapter when they realized Kyras was bound by chaos.
They don't really need cameos. I mean, most of the voice actors did SM, CSM, some Orks too, and sometimes Eldar. They're not really iconic BR per se, and so while you could have characters make cameos, dunno about the voice actors. If they audition and sound good, hire them.
