Where Are The Blood Ravens?

Most of the stuff linked isn't gifted or stolen, it says they were made in honour of whatever they're named after.

Stuff they 'find' in game should be taken with a very large bucket of salt. I'd only look at things they found in other, lets say more official, sources.

"The reports were later disproved, but inspired the name of this weapon." -Black Rage Chainsword
"It takes its name from its distinctive sound, likened to that of a hungry wolf." -Snarl of the Wolf
"The axe was forged in honour of Leman Russ. Since the axe can cleave straight through metal as well as flesh, the Blood Ravens thought the name appropriate. The Space Wolves, however, were insulted and still nurse a grudge against the Ravens." -Matchless Savagery of Russ.
"The Blood Ravens created it in honour of Belial" -Fist of Belial
"...when it was found by the Blood Ravens Chapter during the Second Aurelia Campaign." -Mephitic Perdition of Flies
The Honor of Terra is literally named after Terra as a symbol. Nothing more. Did you read the links you linked? Every single relic/artifact in the Blood Ravens armory was either named in honor of, or retrieved from fallen enemies. Nothing has been stolen. And Space Marine Chapters are supposed to keep relics. They're relics. Something that usually can't be created again. That's like ragging on the Mechanicus for valuing STC's as highly as they do. So tell me why again Blood Ravens should be chastised for this?

From a lore standpoint I agree, it wouldn't make too much sense having the Blood Ravens participate. Their Chapter was recovering from losing 5 companies in Kaurava, and after the events of Aurelia their Chapter is severely undermanned. There's no official word stating how many companies they have left, at least my to my knowledge. Them participating in EC, from a lore standpoint, would be questionable.

However, the argument can be made that they were forced on a crusade of penance to redeem themselves after the events of the Aurelian Crusade. Anything could happen if the Devs will it and GW gives the go ahead.

If it is possible for them to do a crusade of penance, who do you think should lead it? I'm leaning toward either Aramus (The nameless force commander from DOW2 who killed Ulkair and Defeated the Hive Fleet), Captain Diomedes, or Perhaps a New Force Commander?

Aramus. He was bad ass, what happened to him after Dow2 and chaos rising anyway.
  6. Freke Freke Subordinate

Aramus most definitely. After the events of DoW 2 one could imagine him being elevated to Captain of the First Company or some other incredibly high position. I mean, he was the one who lead the forces and crushed an entire Hive Fleet and banished a Greater Daemon. That should earn some big points imo. :p

However, I can't seem to find anything on him past killing Ulkair. :(

Did you look at Lexicanium? That's the only place i could find the most Info on him.

Yep, that's what I was reading off of. It has a notes section, but nothing officially stating his position. I think the most reputable one is him serving under Gabriel Angelos, but who really knows. Aramus could have just as easily fallen to Chaos in CR, there wasn't much personality given about him. :p

Okay well do you think we should see some cameo Appearances from the so called "Heroes of Aurelia" in EC? Like maybe Davian Thule, Cyrus, or maybe Sargent Tarkus? I would also like to see a Cameo of Avitus as a Havoc Marine in the Black Legion or Isador as a chaos Sorcerer. ^_^

Some of the items were found on dead soldiers but it would be seriously questionable for the Blood Ravens to keep them. You find ancient Blood Angels armor, you return it to the Blood Angels. The stuff in the game is too ridiculous to be real though.
