Hey guys, just thought with the influx of new players this would be a good time to ask about some features that were disabled.. Voip. Now originally I think it was removed many months ago because it 'caused crashes' but do correct me if that's incorrect, as I never crashed while using it. Anyway I'm just asking about voip as it seems to have been forgotten and left by the wayside as I've not seen it mentioned in the videos, or patches, or content updates since. it's essential for a team based game to have and while I use a teamspeak for my clan (dlb represent ) I believe new players, old players and anyone would only benefit from the voip being re- enabled. the reasons are as follows. 1. New players are able to be told how to for example 'set objectives 2. general co-ordination 3. a purpose to the clans(because really you can't be more than a loose mob without going outside of the game to an external voice platform, so we can't count that.) 4. Inevitable 12-16 y.o's trying to waagh at the end of the matches and their voices cracking. Now, we still have the binds for voip listed in the keybinds list and that is another confusing thing, especially considering exactly how long it's been disabled for. SO on a final note to any developers reading and feeling like commenting. *what happened to voip? *When are you bringing it back? *Why has there been no info on it? Cheers lads.
Since it was taken out we have asked for voip to return. And i hope by the dark gods that it will come back soon. Note: I said soon, not soon™ Bring voip back please, it's no longer funny
dank, but I do see where you are coming from. It's really not even a joke anymore, it's been over 6 months,can you believe it. I realise now that it's been at least 6 months since voips been disabled. Because it caused servers to crash. we have new servers now, the amazon ones do we not?
Thought we had Amazon servers back THEN and that's WHY they crashed in the first place? Didn't it happen around the time they started trying to boost player numbers in game? They probably want to finish rolling out F2P smoothly, hopefully then it'll get pushed up the to do list :/

Honestly, i don't care anymore what the problem is. I mean, every multiplayer shooter i know of supports voip, but you tell me Bhvr is not capabble enough to reintroduce voip? I don't think so. I think it's just verry low priority for them, and that's frustrating...
I get the same feeling that the priority is low as well. I'll make sure to try and ask this friday on the twitch to try and garner a response but it does seem as if it's an elephant in the room!
