There are videos from OBST showing the exploit abuse!!! So yeah.. imagine if OBST didn't support this kind of behavior! In our pre-mades (MYST), we never use these exploits, but if anyone has evidence that a MYST or WP member is abusing them, then please feel free to point it out in order for the guild leaders to take action.
Enjoy the video from OBST showing the abuse of the exploit! Hope this is sufficient evidence!!! ^_^ View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G20fJbF6G24
If you come on my Teamspeak server uninvited prepare to be ridiculed, simple as that. I do believe OBST is the 2nd biggest Eldar guild? Not that size has any reflection on your authority over others as you seem to suggest. Also I have been reliably informed that in fact MYST was previously notorious for exploiting this bug. It is good they are cracking down on it now but don't try and act all righteous about it. I won't defend our behavior, we did do this for a period of about 24 hours then stopped. There are the facts for you, we never encouraged others to do it, that was their personal decision to do it.
They already ruined assualting Agnothio, now you can't get vehicles over the bridge to B and I'd gamble it's the fault of exploiters.
IDFAG? That's possible, it appears you both were sort of right. My name wasn't in the video, nor have I experienced this in any of my many games with OBST (or those I played for MYST, btw), and its been talked about. As Korlandril says though, its probably a joke. Poor taste? Maybe. I don't doubt that things have happened in the other two guilds though, I mean, all 3 guilds are mass invite guilds with virtually no vetting of the members. Still, its most likely a singular incident, and this bug has been done by many PUGs with every faction but the orc vehicles in my experience. Could it not be viewed as such?
Do you know when will it stop? When someone that plays LSM got in his head that melta actually exists. I swear to the Emprah, I am getting sick and tired of being the only one to use melta because no one else uses it.
I commend the guy his reasoning is not wrong fuck it burn it all and then dance in the flames while everything around you burns and as this game dies and the world of arkona dies....you can give thanks to the laughing god for enabling you to generate the amount of salt that you did and die having the last laugh
And if you act like a child, prepare to be called out on it. I asked you to stop, very politely, and you gave a very immature response and kicked me. I didn't pursue the issue after that until you invited me back to your TS. I expected a mature adult to respond to a very simple question, but I guess that was a little too much to ask. Reliable from whom? If someone from MYST is discovered doing this, they are dealt with. Either by a warning or a straight ban if they've done it before. There is very little wiggle room here. We have never condoned it outside of a testing environment, period. The fact is that it happened, and that can't be reversed. This whole problem started when you guys were doing it on every map physically possible to do it on, so all the pugs learned how to do it and it became less manageable. I even politely asked you to stop, you kicked me, then invited me back and explained to me that you didn't care about the outcome because the devs won't do anything. IDGAF* When they happen in MYST and WP, they're dealt with on a case-by-case basis. OBST is the only one that has ever condoned it. That's the problem that's coming from this. OBST are the only large Eldar guild that has ever allowed this to happen, and (unless something has changed) does nothing to stop it in-game once it starts happening. I can understand where you're coming from, though. But the fact of the matter is that this was happening and a precedent was set within your guild. If I had to describe the situation in terms of where OBST stands from the outside looking in, I would say that you absolutely encouraged it for a time, and now either encourage it or are neutral. Regardless, OBST has not shown the willingness to deal with these situations on any real scale and seems to think (again, from the outside looking in) that this isn't their problem. Now, by keeping a relatively neutral stance, it's makes them look like the villains here. That's just how it is unless you guys want to change it. And, for the record, MYST vets its potential members by a small screening and cross-referencing accounts to see if they have a bias. If they show something destructive to the community, they're kicked. If they do something that the leadership never finds out about, nothing gets done because the leadership doesn't find out about it.
These two quotes do not go well together then. The pot calling the kettle black it seems. ---- Once. Or are there other instances? It seems like its insinuated, but I could be misreading it. It does appear like you're saying OBST is actively promoting it and have always done so. I doubt MYST does that, they sure didn't when I became part of it. Maybe you do vet current members, but potential members? All Eldar guilds, as well as those of other factions, are all about "hey, join us" in the chat during and after the games. There is no screening there.
