Hello, Brothers and Xenos ! I noticed the logo changed from this (cache version of september) To this: And i think it's a good thing. Do you guys like it? Could you tell me when it changed? (maybe @Oveur can tell me) I work in webdesign, and i find it interesting. This one feels more pro.
Well, technically it is the same logo: but one is a heavy embellished textured version, whereas the new one is simply flat colour with a red inner glow over the orange base I agree that I prefer the new one, though, the textured version was a little bit dated. Less is more and all that.
Unless we are talking about the game, where more is more and more is better I don't know if I like the new logo or not (not certain I would all it a logo), but it does somewhat give of the right "feeling", but it doesn't seem to fit all that well with "the is only war" and the general Wh40k universe :/
Well, its a logotype if you're looking for the correct word I'm sure they could go a similar route to the type of embellishment on the current 40k logo as a different path, at some stage, if people thought this one was too simple.
They changed it because of some reasons. Nathan said something about it, but I don't remember it anymore. I have said it (at least 2 times) befor: The old one wasn't the best in WH40k-history, but the new one looks cheap. Do I hope they change it (again)? Yes, but it's unlikely to be happend.
