I don't know, we are currently getting our asses handed to us by LSM in the territory we are fighting them in but beating everyone else. Either they magically all learned to play better and got some buffs or most of the noobs switched to Eldar so the good guilds and players can actualy make more of a difference. I'm going with the latter, I've noticed a very sharp decline in wins and team work and a massive rise in salt and shit talking from Eldar players both in faction and end of match.
Correct term should be ISM (Imperium Space Marines), due to Imperium vs Chaos rather than Loyalists vs Traitors, but LSM seems to be more popular.
firstly sorry for comming into this thread as a LSM but just yesterday myself and a bunch of fellow marines where running a mix of Ground Assault, jump assault and taticals mainly against the eldar. And we aquirred copious ammounts of salt from the eldar teams we were fighting against. fyi
yep, so this. all sm's come and try play with eldar. i play with all factions, sm faction is something beyond from somewhere. they blame every other faction is op, when played so badly. orks are the best ones, they do team work and never cries. like play with em.
Coordinated melee packs always work well against Eldars: Fire Dragons are busy hunting vehicles, Scorpions are stealth soloing somewhere else, Hawks are in the sky, Dire Avengers will run for their lives and if you keep the Warlock busy in melee, they cannot heal/protect. That's why the CSM are so good against them, but LSM diving in with shield absorbing fire/Apoth AoE heal grenade & Melee buff can work just as nicely. It's simply not the kind of cooperation you will see happen often with PuGs.
Nothing, I still win 3/4 games unless we are against a good guild. That said, I always run with my guild and we use VOIP which influences the game heavily. We designate roles and always have someone who is playing a dedicated class like Fire Dragon to down APCs. People can scream OP all they want, at this point its a feature of being an Eldar player.
