Am I the only one who won't miss BladeRunner777? I got really tired of his constant negativity and lack of constructive criticism. I even asked him once why would he still be here if he despised the game so much, and he told me it was because he was fighting to get a refund. I can support fighting for that if one should have gotten it, and even hoped he would eventually get it, but since I wasn't convinced by his arguments on the validity of his claim (example: asking for a Steam refund after more than 2 hours of gameplay), I'm not sure how much legitimate was. In any case, I grew very tired of him. Glad he's not around anymore.
Fair enough, no ones asking anyone to like the guy or even flat out defending him but more or less a little outraged at the way this whole debacle was handled.
The Steamrefund system as it is now is dumb. Some games should have way longer refund time than just 2 hours. Especially for a multiplayer game where you hopefor large numbers of players, 3 to 5 days wouldnt be extreme. each genre should get its own refund window of time.
this is the occuring pattern: things get screwed up, response: you cant possibly know what goes on and why we do what we do. but when you look at facts, so far only Blade got banned, while there's plenty of other 'offenders' around except with the right opinion and they dont see any consequences to their 'offenses'. That is worrying to me. The hunt the devs stuff is probably the straw that broke the camels back, but Blade didnt do stuff others, esp the kool aid brigade didnt do in the more extreme. But since they kiss the a...praise the devs it isnt perceived as troublesome.
I don't recall anyone who backed the game from the very beginning being under the impression that we were getting involved in a steam early access title. The founders access we knew we were going to get and steam early access should be considered entirely different and shouldn't fall under the same guidelines the 2 week/2 hour refund window or w/e arbitrary time limit steam currently has it currently set to, at least in my mind. Was he entitled to a refund ? I have no idea I haven't looked into it but steams policies shouldn't have any correlation between him and BE as far as I'm concerned.

I agree, I'm slightly concerned this little stink I'm making in this regard might have me targeted too, there seems to be an ever growing grey area where all this is concerned and it's getting slightly concerning. I try to be respectful in my posts but at this point, who knows who's next right ? Maybe I should sprinkle in a few good jobs and pats on the back to keep myself in their good books, just incase.
