To make sure that all races really play differently, to make them unique and fun to play. Also, to make EVERY class of EVERY faction a viable option, capable of being a competitive option.
Absolutely. They hinted at having multiple different builds, unconventional builds, etc. I love this idea. Having a specialist, and having success in your niche is always a blast.
Every faction? I guessing you mean race Nids wont be playable but im gussing every other race might be released sometime after the game is owever if your talking about faction do yo know how many chaos legions are out there let alone sm chapters ?
Decent, realistic, defendable forts. Forts that stay true to the lore in the towering edifices and meter's thick rockrete and plasteel bunkers. Bases that don't just let any moron walk into them through a door that only keeps tanks out (looking at you ps2) or has dozens of gaps in defences that aren't worthy of the name. Bases with decent fields of fire for the defenders.
Viable guerilla tactics and commando raids along with reconnaissance. The Imperial Guard being playable later with regimental selection. To finally see the inside of the Webway rendered would be nice as well.
Hmm, i would love to see, when it comes to the back of your character, more things than just capes. I wanna see elder wearing bags, Orks with huge spikes on their back, showing off their trophey, and most of all, Space Marines wearing flagpoles all in the name of Chaos/The emperor. Don't get me wrong, capes are cool, but after playing WOW and only seeing capes in that game since 2004, it gets tiresome. So more back customization! Another thing, i want the character customization colours in the game to be lore friendly. What really would break the immersion for me is to see a rainbow coloured space marine. Granted, it would be really funny, but i can imagen it getting old really fast. So, lore colours only please :3
I am with you with that they are not really that useful (both in the lore and mechanicly) but I must say, as a "awesome armor suits" nerd they look kinda nice.
