The game was not without flaws, but Relic wasn't known for shooters anyways. I am disappointing we won't see the story finish.
I am sad that the story will remain unresolved for the game. Hopefully someone will write a book about it too finish the story? Show how it all happens and tell what transpired at the end of Space Marine and the events of what happens in 2 & 3. I like too think that the second and Third games would have been based on positive or negative choices likewise we would see the story effects transfer into the third story arch. Something similar with Mass Effect. Who knows, maybe in time someone from Relic/THQ who worked on the game will get a KickStarter going or get commissioned by Games Workshop to continue the project?
Not a bad idea, but we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out first. Only time will tell. Though I fear the game is one of the series that remains incomplete.
In Dawn of War it was more of an Eldar vs. Chaos thing... kinda like in Dawn of War 2 where the Eldar tried to use the Orks to get rid of the Tyranids. But I don't really have other situations where Chaos manipulated Orks or any other race. Most of the time they do their action on their own but wait for the right timing (e.g. Iron Warriors vs. Ultramar) The Eldar, well I don't know many of their iconic battles or the details like Ichar IV but they often use Orks and sometimes I even think they were able to trick the Imperium to fight for them, but I am not sure on that.
Titus becomes heresy, Leandros becomes the chapter master of the Space marines after he declares exterminatus on Macragge and kills Marneus, Leandros declares himself the new Emperor and takes over terra, final boss is a living saint leandros who absorbed the soul of the Emperor.
And then Abaddon stops by, kills the new Emperor Leandros, becomes the Emperor of Terra and is still champion of the 4 chaos gods and then makes every Man of Imperium to a Heretic just like Kyras did with the Blood Ravens.
But not before all 4 chaos gods declare peace and fuse into one super chaos god, Only to then get embroiled in an eternal battle with Malice who convinced Gork and Mork to help him brawl with the new mega god. Abaddon is mortally wounded in the ensuing chaos and falls on the golden throne, no one knows he isn't the emperor and he remains there for all eternity, protecting mankind against his will.
