Well, Tau and Necrons are said to be on the list (NO Squat so...). Here is my personally logic (a bit of RP too) when I put only 3 factions. Tau/Necrons on the list. It left other possible options, IG, SoB and Dark Eldar. Imperial Guards and Sisters of Battle are part of Imperium. No loyal IG or SoB open fire on SM, how do you make it happen? Yeah, it's possible the write short story why they start killing each other for this game. But you are encountering first founding Chapters here, no matter what the course I doubt the Inquisition accept any reason, they will brand you as traitors. Loyal IG/Sob fight against SM, that is nonsense to me. Unless you enjoy playing as traitor IG/Sob, I don't. And I don't see IG becoming sub faction of SM, that will be unfair for other factions. So it left only Tau, Necrons and Dark Eldar. They have no love for any other factions.
This is now what, close to the 6th or 7th "which race"-poll I have seen on the forum, second one related to the founders. Aaaanyway. I will say what I always say (not copy-pasting this time though) Dark Eldar are my choice, both because they are a personal favourite of mine as well as they fit in best in regards to what we currently know of Arkhona, that the factions have their individuals power-level balanced (I have heard some interesting suggestions on IG, though) and they would be different enough from CWE (and people who argue they shouldn't be in because of they wouldn't be should stop and look how half the playable factions are already the same) both in terms of units and weaponry (they wouldn't even need as many classes as the eldar have now) and lore, but also giving the opportunity of alliance between them and eldar if the situation needs it
Necrons should be PVE race, because thay lack personality. Dark Eldars are cool, but we already have eldars. So, Tau is my choice. Theirs suits can give us very interesting and different gameplay. (and do not forget about kroots to eat corpses of the slain enemies) )))
Why do people seem to think that First Founding Chapters have some sort of exempt from being branded as traitors by the Inquisition? The Dark Angels have been under close scrutiny by the Inquisition for thousands of years because of their suspicious behavior and the Space Wolves at one point had an armed conflict with the Inquisition. The Blood Angels and their successors are regarded as blood crazed madmen by some Imperial elements. I just want to understand why, what is the reasoning behind this idea?
I think Necrons would be better suited to a secondary planet in the future, as an NPC race like the Nids, I feel they would be a good addition like that. Tau are going to be the obvious/popular choice, but I like DE too much not to vote for them.
Well, if those are our only choices then i will go with Dark Eldar. I think, it is what makes sense. Why? I think it would be easier for developers to implement Dark Eldar, since we got Eldar. Of course, Necrons would be my second choice then Tau would be 3rd. My opinion of course, I know a lot of us love Tau, and would like to see them implemented. I respect that. But other than IG, i really don't care what is going to be implemented. Lastly, i think that Necrons might be implemented like 'nids.
I don't think that. I do, however, think that the Inquisition is a pile of elitist groxshit that needs to be thrown off a really high cliff along with the Ecclesiarchy.
While I agree with your assessment, I don't see this as problematic. Think about the Space Marines: are they not elites? Every Necron above the Warrior/Flayed One has an individual personality. While in the case of Immortals this individuality might be limited, the higher up you go (Lychguard, Deathmark, Praetorian, Cryptek, etc) the more personality you get. The Necrons are definitely not an NPC faction.
