When i play as a Dark Angel at release: Relic Blade and storm shield. For primary firearm; a combi-plasma Plasma pistol as my last resort. Dabble with Relic Blade and Jump pack When i can finally play as a Salamander: Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield with a Jump pack Primary Firearm; Combi Flamer Bolt Pistol as last resort. Dabble in Meltaguns and Flamers
Honestly I can see my main weapon choice as either being a plasma gun or a storm bolter. Though in some cases I might venture to use a chainsword just for the fun of getting into melee battles with the ork hoards.
True glory is won in the Emperor's name through engagement in close combat, eye to eye with the heretic and the xenos. The chainsword and the power sword with be my weapons of choice as an Assault Marine. If being a Chaplain is an option, the Crozius Arcanum.
A Raptor with twin lightning claws for my first Chaos character, then a Dark Angels Devastator marine with a plasma cannon. Would be good to be an Obliterator and go DAKKADAKKADAKKADAKKA.
For me it will be the Space Marines Iconic BOLTER and CHAINSWORD. Those two go together like peanut butter and jelly. My secondary choice woudl be the Bolt Pistol. It's basically a baby Bolter, but still kicks ass. If I HAVE the chance, and I hope I will, I'll go into battle with TWO Chainswords.
In Space Marine, I preferred these weapons, depending on the situation: PvP Assault Marine: Chainsword + Bolt Pistol Devastator Marine: Heavy Bolter PvE (Exterminatus) Assault Marine: Thunder Hammer + Plasma Pistol Tactical Marine: Plasma Gun + Melta Gun In PvP, I hated players using Plasma Cannons, Stalker Bolters and Lascannons, so I stayed far away from those. In Exterminatus, only a handful of loadouts was actually viable, especially in the later levels. But in Eternal Crusade, all will depend of how classes and weapon selection will ultimately work. If I start out with just a basic bolter, I can live with that.
