My first GW game was Warhammer 40,000 TT 2nd Edition after they changed it from Rogue Trader. First GW video game was the original PS1 Space Hulk. Though, it's been a number of years since I've actively played on the TT.

Two Towers, I had the battle set, never really played any games. Picked up a combat squad of marines later, but also got the WFB 6th ed as a present. Never really played much, a couple games in middle school and high school, but never got real into it until after high school. They're all collecting dust. Gave my Empire army away since Fantasy is dead p much and nobody plays it anymore. I've got my Blood Angels successors, but nobody plays, so I just keep em in their big ol' case in the corner.
  3. I was given the original space hulk by my brother back in 1995
  4. Back in 2004 it was DOW1 for me. 6 Years later I started playing TT as orks. I also love the IOM.
  5. Space Hulk is reduced on Steam today BTW, just if anyone was interested. :)

Dawn of War Dark Crusade. Actually it introduced me into W40K as over here where i live not that many people are interested in tabletop games and etc other than the few who enjoy D&D

Where do you live (generally speaking), if you don't mind my asking? I'm always curious about the regional trends of war gaming.

Its Brazil. Im my hometown which is quite in the interior of the country absolutely no one i met knew about w40k besides my brother, and only a few even played D&D. The state capital which i am now has quite a bigger D&D and other tabletop communities though, but still W40K is really really small. Might be just my personal experience though.

Thank you for sharing. In most places I think the 40k community might actually be smaller than it was ten years ago. More people know the IP, but fewer collect armies and play games. Nice to hear that D&D is going strong, though.
