Unless it's not an engineering team at all - it's just that the Dark Eldar are using the sacrificial psykers to sustain the Emperor - in the same way they do for themselves. I don't think anyone was proposing bringing in the Dark Eldar for their mechanical expertise.

Sure, it's from the mechanicus codex.

    Desperate Measures

The Tech-Priest custodians at work in the Emperor's Palace uncover irrevocable failures in the mechanisms of the Golden Throne. A dozen contingency expeditions are immediately launched, including a Xanthite war procession sent through the Exhubris Portal. The Xanthites fight through Harlequins Troups and Daemon hordes alike before reaching their intended destination. In the grave-cold oubliettes beneath Commorragh, a dark bargain is struck.

  3. Question: Lileath - Why isn't she associated with Tzeentche? He seems to be the most aligned with her as far as "dreamer/visions" are concerned. Then again, maybe she was high on the Eldar equivalent of peyote.
  4. Then atleast tell the intire bad story that i so far has seen all mechanicus fans ignore.
The way you said it, made it eldar supremecists think that the dark eldar had allways been there because they aperantly are surperior to the mechanicus.
This is more like ordo xenos radicels attempting to seize a throne of Khaine to see if it works kinda like the golden throne.

What on earth is an Eldar supremacist and why would I even keep them in mind? Is it like a Neo-Eldar order or something?

    Well...that's basically Biel-Tan but still.

I'm not entirely sure what the context for this is as i'm not in the original thread but, dreamers and sleep are a Slaaneshi thing rather then a Zentch thing. Slaanesh is often referred to as sleeping, the Keepers of Secrets are made in dreams, Slaanesh first appeared to the Eldar in their sleep, her minions emit a musk that makes enemies drowsy, one of her six sins is sloth, etc.
  6. The choice of race Will often reflect the persons personality somewhat, but amongst most arrogant fans in 40 k there is, the unread whatever, they dont know Lord but claim alot of shit, like Azunar.
Then i would put the general read eldar fan highest on the list of arrogant fans who belive that their race is unfalleble, that the only reason the eldar arent god Kings of everything is just bad more and people who dont understand, Will say shit Like a howling banshee defeats an assault marine 10/10 times, or that primarchs are bad more because Many of them Can defeat an avatar of khaine, or now thanks to you Will belive that the Golden Throne where build and maintained by eldar. (Tzeentch chaos fans Can be equally arrogant :p)

Though i too Can be arrogant but i try to Understand and read on every race.

Just to be clear, we Eldar are the god-kings of everything. We just didn't want the bits of the galaxy we left to you lesser races :)

Also sometimes in the midst of battle we hear the special Eldar Cupcake Party Noise - so we turn away from our opponents and run back to base to eat cupcakes and dance.

No lesser races are allowed, but I assure you our parties are so good you would turn your back on the foe and run home too (were you ever invited) :)

Isha needs to take her useless lab-rat self and go the way of the Squats and I'll replace her as the glorious Eldar god i am.

  9. What was is gone, what is, is not enough, what will be is uncertain. This is the truth that all Eldar must either accept or retreat into denial.

Ynnead is an... Interesting theory, to say the least. It is not entirely clear whether genuine Warp-science went behind the theory or it's simply Eldar retreating to a state where they can emotionally handle their deaths. Perhaps it is a little of both, the combination of souls currently residing within the Infinity Circuits does bear a power stronger than any other that exist within the Materium. Therein lies the question, however, do the combined Eldar souls possess enough energy to overpower even one of the five main collections of emotion within the Immaterial plane (Rage, Despair, Desire, Ambition and Faith, for those of you who aren't quite as savvy with Immateria-science.)

Even then, one must question the power of the Hive Mind within this. By all reasoning, the Tyranid psychic gesalt is the most powerful being we know to have ever existed, bearing strength even greater than that of any individual God we have seen so far. As much as some Eldar and other races would loathe to admit it, Tyranids can be considered the perfect life-form in a psychic sense, devoting their entire function to a hyper-efficient collection of psychic potential and focus. Who is to say that Ynnead is simply not consumed by this power, even if he does successfully rid the world of Chaos?

As for Ceogorach changing the strands of fate, I think it's time we all accepted that as a metaphor, don't you? Causality and correlation are what guides this galaxy, the closest things one could consider to a sense of "hard fate," are the whims and plans of the various Gods, who spin their influence across time and space in order to achieve simple goals with actions so complex that no sane mortal can claim to understand them.

The future of all being is uncertain, Eldar, it would serve you best to never underestimate how insignificant even the Gods are in this universe.

Oh no, a Changer of Ways has found it's way here and wants to crumble our hopes. We're invulnerable to your machinations, chaos abomination!

Hmm, I'm waiting for an instance of Hive Mind's interaction with a warp power. The shadow in the warp is real, but is there something else? Does it affect the Webway?

To me the Hive Mind looks like a powerful entity but somewhat primitive just like the Tyranids are.
