I think it's exactly that. EC's way to improve Player-Numbers. And if you look at all the matches that suddenly pop up, the ammount of players suddenly in the game, you see it worked out well for them. The Campaign itself is... rather booring, but when it brings up Playernumbers, all Power to the campaign i guess?
That's of course a different story. As it is, the Campaign motivates you to achieve your personal 10 matches won goal... but apart from that? Don't think that's long-term motivation
If RTC earned during the campaign is faction locked, then I could see people trying to sabotage so they get the largest amount for their favourite faction. If RTC works as a total pool for all factions (as it has done up to now), then there is little point in such acts of sabotage. As for leading faction - from what I can tell the bar at the top is just a graphical representation of the timer. The only way you seem to be able to gauge it is via how much territory everyone holds - or rather gains/loses. So almost impossible to tell without taking screenshots of the world map at the start of the campaign and throughout.
It is not. Watch Kuche's post. Already taken screens and all that stuff. All factions can win, confirmed, and this is 3d time this is said in this thread.
Loyal not win the company, because in their ranks the most idiots, ignorant that such tactics and team play, not because they are unjustly offended by the project developers (although yes, and for this reason too). proof needed? many battles were won in the group with the appropriate people (yes, and voice, too, was and is to clarify that people with a lower rank 5 was not ...)
They all need to have totally different victory conditions. Ideally ones that vary from week-to-week. I'm sure that's something that can be (note: not necessarily will be) added further down the line.
