I dunno, there seems to be a whole lotta BT love around here. If it went to a straight vote, dem's where my money would go.
Since we're going with first founding chapters so far I'd like to see either Imperial fists or Iron hands. Either of them would be awesome, and with the iron hands you could at least get an awesome bionic look to your marine.
This thread does need a poll : - Imperial Fists - Black Templars - Salamanders - White Scars - Raven Guard - Other Deathwatch is no chapter but a regroupment of members of various chapters to watch for xenos. Blood Ravens are not canon, thus they don't belong in space marine chapters, specifically progenitor ones.
It needs to be one of the first founding chapters in my opinion but then again it realy depends on tha game also and the enviroment where we are playing. But if need to choose one I would go for Iron Hands just because I like the mechanicus theme alot. Deathwatch is also something I would love to see but that should be somekind of specialization when people gain more skills.
You're right but, although Black Templars are a second founding chapter, they are a very popular and especially a more active chapter than their primogenitor chapter : the Imperial Fists, which one of the major goals is to protect Holy Terra since the heresy. Thus I'd bet for BT as 5th chapter if I had to.
While I'd agree that the 5th Faction if we get one should be one of the other Founding Chapters, I think it's up to Games Workshop to decide if the Blood Ravens are actually canon or not. They did have an index astartes page so....I think they could be considered canon. Hasn't been said to the contrary. Take with a grain of salt, not sure if anything more recent shoots this down. Fifth Chapter should be Imperial Fists or Raven Guard
There will be a poll eventually, but before we can get an actual poll, I felt that there may be other chapters not currently in the forum that are rather popular. But making a poll is definitely on my list of things to do.
