Greetings Ladies and Gents, Loyalists and Heretics, Xenos! *bows with fluent gesticulation* Man... it's been a looong time since I was online and about to post a thread... ANYWAYS: So... this thread is about... well... maybe helping you a little bit with finding your type/ class and some interesting stuff about >Personality-role in MMO's/ MMORPG's< As you might know, I already created a thread about which Space Marine Chapter, Traitor Legion, Craftworld etc. fits each personality type. It turned out to be pretty impossible and better stays a "fun thing". Why? Because everybody has his own ideals, that might be influenced by the personality type, but is not ALL ABOUT the personality type. So... back to the actual topic I am a person that struggles with finding a fitting role and I change my opinion very often and I begin to doubt, if I stick with something (*FFS Tzeentch stop it! *fluff insider* ) There are many awesome types aviable in MMO's/MMORPG's and it can be really hard to find the one, you feel most comfortable with. (...unless you might be the that type of gamer, who wants unlock every single sh*t... ) So, because I'm such a doubter whose spirit got blessed (or corrupted... I'm more of a loyalist) to much from Tzeentch, I searched my ass off the internet and found something pretty interesting. A site, with some damn interesting details about typical types of players in MMO's/MMORPG's. BEFORE you go to hardcore with this (I tended to be hardcore with those personality types. Why? It was simply mind blowing truth to me...), consider that it just shows you POSSIBLE options and ways, to find your type of type. Also here it's pretty much about ideals, instead of "Internet truth". I am an "INFP" and it says that I'm sorta "Idealist/Socializer" and the class-type I might fit in is the "Cleric" and the "Healer" (according to other possible facts/ stats). You know... some sort of a spiritual supporter. I will definitely play as Eldar. But I'm also interested in the Space Marines. My class as a Space Marine could be: The Chaplain and the Apothecary. I'm really a feely than a rational thinking type... that might bring me closer to the Chaplain. That's funny because I was told at my schooltime (aaah... miss those days), that I'm some kind of a preacher/ commentator. But also a good guy at heart and have a sympathetic ear if other classmates had a hard time or needed to speech out something trusted. ...doesn't that make some sorta padre? LOL I think Chaplains of the Space Marines are also those types, you speak too, when you want to confess and get some relief. Even though I'm an INFP also, I like Swords. Swords are absolutely lovely weapons and there is artistry in graceful precise motion that matches INFPs just fine. Of course, I'm normally a healer since I'm simply good at it, but this time around I'll be focusing on my beloved swordplay. Of course I can also see the art of strategery, I'm pretty decent at reading the flows of battle and trying to see my enemy's decisions so, I have my own ways of command that tend to work reasonably well.
So this personality thing says I'm an INFJ, The Advocate or something like that, meaning my play style is more along the lines of idealist/socializer or DGD-1 Participant according to that fancy chart. Not sure what that would mean regarding mmo classes, I usually play either a tank or frontline fighter like a vanguard or a berserker. Which could be fitting considering I'm going Ork an' I'm gunna stomp ev'ree git dat standz in me wayz.
I'd much rather be the guy sitting in a lawnchair watching people smash each other's faces in. Also apparently I'm a "logistician", but I never really trust these tests anyway.
Maybe this personality test thinks I'm a much deeper individual then just the asshole I believe myself to be.

I currently have a type INTP type personality, which has shifted from my prior INTJ, so this thing considers me a Logician, and from my test into the MMO type I'm an Explorer/Killer. What can I say, I like to go to new places and kill new people. For the setting, my primary character is a Sorcerer, so I guess that fits. I'm also gunning for the position of Arch-Tzneetchian so that my strategies can reap death on a massive scale, just like Total War, but with more tears.
I just wish I was considered a 1%er money wise instead of personality wise Then again, I might be a totally different person if that was the case, and I'd probably hate that
Me too! I can't be happy if I haven't a sword with me <3 Why do I like swords... because... I don't know, they're versatile as hell, graceful and just are used with the most impressive art of combat to me. I also can or might be a "healy" one. But I think Aspect Warriors and Autarchs really attract me a bit more than Warlocks and Farseers.
