HAHAHA actually yeah unfortunately it does, grudge as well hmmm. ;-) guess i better recruit him and i think you've just worked out why Games Workshop discontinued the squat race ;-)
The current breakdown of the faction player-base is slightly disheartening. It's understandable that a lot of people will want to play an Astarte, and quite frankly anyone who doesn't is a filthy heretic, but I was hoping there'd be a more even spread. Once the game hits beta and more information gets released perhaps we'll see a shift in the player-base due to people wanting to roll FOTM classes. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I wouldn't worry too much. I put Space Marine, but only because that was probably what I'll try first to learn the controls on. I plan to play ALL the races =P But I'd hazard a guess that either SM or CSM are going to be the most forgiving to start with. I could be wrong, of course. But yeah, I'll be playing every flavour of awesome.
One cause could be players from Space Marine who like me have their own clan/chapter and wish to carry that identity over. Several of the wolves have stated a strong desire to play eldar also, and still two years to go ;-)
I iz goin to play SpaceMarine. Chaos or not, I shall found my chapter. After the Nightlordz, the Gaylordz.
It'd definitely have to be the Iron Warriors for me. Unless Word Bearers are announced later on, then I'd really have a hard time choosing!
Still undecided, either Chaos - Black Legion, Space Marines - Space Wolves, or even Orks - Deathskulls.
