@Colapse never RPed before he joined my very first proper RP here - Deathwatch. Look how good he is now. Plus here are plenty around to help you GMing, like Deran probably and myself. I was probably the only one who came in here with Forum-RP experience, given I had already 4-5 years on my back when I came here xD
If I may be so rude/condescending to give you advice, GMing is easy if you can RP and story-build well. I think you can. Really, I never GM'd before OC and I think it was surprisingly easy to write. It failed as an RP because I am horrible at discipline. Just, y'know, try if you want to.
Well I'm fine with writing the story...I think my biggest problem is understanding dice and where to find traits and skills
@matt23 I agree, GMing is not that hard however it does take away a lot of time, and it also requires commitment and attention to detail, as well as juggling with different players\personalities and their take on the RP while also trying to find something you like as well, since despite what a professional writer would tell you that he usually never writes about something he wants to, in here you do have to find something at least a bit close to your sensibility or else you wouldn't keep that drive to move you forward. Like Casavay said, if you are feeling like it you should give it a go. Good thing here is that most of us are friends and overall possess friendly demeanor that would make your life a lot easier. It's pretty much cool stuff to do, but the best experience you gonna get is if you start it on your own. For instance my first RP that I GMed was Road of Blood and it was met with quite a success which gave me tons of information on the topic itself and how things work. So if you start something, you have my full support and assistance if needed.

Thx bruva Also, just wanted to write something offtopic a bit that concerns something you and @Casavay spoke about. Couple of months ago I spoke to my gf how I would like to play or even watch some cool game\movie about vampires and that sort of stuff, how since Masquerade I haven't found a game like that at all. She of course just laughed it off, but I started thinking about it more and more, adding premises which I had for my never-to-be-made wh fantasy RP and came up with a cool story. It would be about an old bloodsucker who had it all but at one moment said "fuck you" and went to retirement, dropping the keys to his kingdom and settling down as an owner of a night club somewhere in US I guess. Spending his nights drinking, having sex and doing an occasional high end robbery just because why not but also, given he's got somewhat just sense of morality, he would help those in need and defend them from the oppressors because he feels that's right thing to do in order to teach the wicked the true meaning of fear and dark...if you are still reading this and you find it familiar, it's because either through providence or some other means, this idea got masterfully hijacked by Fox If you watched the leaked pilot episode of their new show "Lucifer" you should see that this is basically the same as my story so what it meant was that my idea of doing it got torn to shreds even before it started Tl;dr WoD RP around here maybe one day inc, but not yet
I'm back I haven't been RPing in a while partially due to the lack of threads that I would want to be in and partially because that I was preoccupied a lot of the time with other things, I was thinking about starting my own thread at one time but backed out because I did not think that my ideas had enough merit to warrant interest. I will take part of future RPs though and my votes will reflect what I am currently looking for.

Yeah ofc but that kind of a RP is...super difficult to pull out. First, logistics - I don't live in US and if I wanted to for instance, put the RP down in lets say, New York, how the fuck do I know how that city works, where are the prominent locations and so on Yup, I can make stuff up but some semblance to real life is needed since this RP would be much more like that. Secondly, what about enemies? Yeah, how would it look like if for instance I write, your 500 old Gangrel Vampire got attacked in the side alley by 4 thugs? Are they going to wound him? I think not And since we don't have space elves to kill when out of ideas, what then? Thirdly, it would be heavily accented on talk and normal stuff, while combat will be a bit problematic to pull out and we all know everyone likes good combat and slaughter. So basically, these are only from top of my head. But if you are asking about characters yeah, there would be anything in it, humans of all kind of professions would be allowed ofc or whatever else there is, but like I said, it's a mishmash of different shit that the way I see it, would be super hard to pull out.
