Reading comprehension, you say kid but i have stated that played 40k when it was rogue trader. I am just pointing that out. Back when the models were lead and didn't cost a lot at all. I'd get smashed as well most likely now. And you may have been sponsored but enough sponsored guys claimed i used hacks and stuff, not everyone who was good cared about being sponsored. I was jokking anyway, hence the winking face.
Dude it was the same for me ( 29 now so getting on abit!) I didn't care but the free stuff was nice, looking back it was fun and that's what its all about. A great motivation for me is PvP, hopefully in game we meet or even organise a few fights!
I am more then often very resistant to pre-ordering and if I do I don't buy anything more expensive then 40-60$. But you guys kinda won me over here. 1. Favorite franchise. 2. Openness and transparency. 3. Interesting dev-team. Everyone seems to be quite open and talkative. 4. Good community on the forum.
Will be mixing it up between Chaos and Eldar mostly - I am a sucker for the striking scorpions. Reckon you will just stick with Orks or will you try each faction first? Imagine the orks will be a laugh to play.
First & foremost, a clear concise vision. Following that development team that is passionate, committed, open with community, listens to community, has the knowledge & fortitude to bring vision to fruition. Eternal Crusade has many of these elements. I'd say at present, the only thing holding you back is there are many unknowns. Many...very important questions that remain unanswered. Informed consumers are waiting for these answers before becoming invested. Questions like: Will the success & failure of campaigns manifest real physical change in-game that players can interact with that are both permanent & meaningful in-game? How do you intend on making the act of capturing territory meaningful & important vs. constant base swapping that occurs in Planetside 2? What progression systems are in place for the truly hardcore players that will keep them playing for years to come? In Planetside 2 for example, BR100 could be achieved in a few weeks if not less. Additionally BR in Planetside 2 essentially amounts to nothing.
Aye, i'll be pre ordering after xmas now myself. Just please, please BE, please make sure you add all the factions as playable. sincerely ALOT OF 40k FANS.
I was thinking of being chaos and orks to begin with. Now that my butthurt is gone as i know that all the races will be added, i will try them all yeah. I really like striking scorpions as well. But not before some serious Space Marine stomping and what better to use than Orks and Chaos for that eh?.
I couldn't agree more! There is a lot of people on here who think SM will be the most popular faction, personally that's just more meat for the grinder imo
Apparently, 60% of all GW's sales are from SM. That is a lot considering they do Warhammer Fantasy and other games. That's like a shopping markets sales being 60% bread or 60% Showering gel despite having a whole shop!. The figures may have changed though and i only heard this from a reliable buddy who worked at a GW shop. I have nothing official.
