Combi-weapons would be cool, the under slung limited fire weapons could be dropped into the boxes for the grenade slot, then you can have 1 big plasma punch to drop in before you move in with your bolter, without having to do a bunch of switching weapons around. and it is something that only LSM have iirc the only similar weapon the chaos ppl have on TT is the storm bolter equiv
Huh. That makes me think, Chaos doesn't technically have a stormbolter. They have a Combi-bolter, which is currently functionally identical in game. Maybe the special thing loyalists could get would be to make the combi-bolter different from the stormbolter, and then let both loyalists and chaos build combi-bolters with mods on their normal bolters when combi-weapons start rolling out. The current chaos combi-bolter could stay in, like the stalker bolter did, as a mass produced variant without mod options. Maybe give the combi-bolter (compare to the storm) a slightly longer reload, worse hipfire accuracy, better aim-down-sights accuracy, and a slightly slower firing pattern (instead of dak-dak-dak-dak it could be da-dak, da-dak, grouping two shots together with a longer space between them while still firing automatically). Now the storm-bolter is a cqc weapon and the combi-bolter is a midrange weapon. This way Space Marines have something unique on their tactical that might draw players to the class the way chain-axe and autocannon can draw chaos to melee and havoc.
Ah another disciple of Ward!I see...i could waste my time to enlighten you but you are a lost case!Nice fannon btw! Also less DoW more TT!
"A Heretic may see the truth and seek redemption." Everyone has the right to come around Galen, and Matt Ward IS canon for the most part. Unfortunately. Now everyone hates the Ultramarines.
Tell me how u wanna kill terminator without destroying his armour criticly beyond point of usage? This same crap whas used to excuse of plasma weapons common in csm weaponry... but ofc lsm cant use autocannon for example. What balance is that? Terminator armour is rare to chaos lore wise, period. http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Terminator_Armour "Chaos Terminator Armour - After the Traitor Legions were driven from the realms of Mankind into the Eye of Terror during the Great Scouring following the climactic end of the Horus Heresy, suits of Terminator Armour became even rarer. As each Legion of Chaos Space Marines fought one another for dominance in the endless internecine struggles for dominance or favour of their patronChaos Gods, many of their most prized relics and artefacts of technology were lost due to attrition. As the Chaos Space Marines succumbed to powers of the Warp, much of the organisation and structure of their former Astartes Legion or Chapter has disappeared. Therefore, suits of Terminator Armour have become their most prized wargear - carefully maintained and guarded jealously by those fortunate few who have been in possession of these rare examples of advanced technology from a bygone era. Amongst the Traitor Legions that still reside within the hellish realms of the Eye, only aspiring Chaos Champions or Chaos Lordswho stand in great favour to the Ruinous Powers wear Terminator Armour. So scarce is Terminator Armour that sometimes an Aspiring Champion can only claim a suit for himself by killing the current wearer, whether in ritual combat or by more devious means. Chaos Terminators will often act as the personal guard of such an esteemed Champion. Within the warband, they enforce the will of their leader and take the first pick of the spoils of victory"
