That was my point. Even if we account for practice, he isnt a fighting type. He hates causing harm to others. His spirit would never be into killing others. Even when he has to, he always would be handicapped by his own nature. If he defeats someone, or fights equally with him > it just means, that enemy was so much weaker, than Aurelian himself. (lolguilliman)
Well not being a fighter doesnt make him less of a primarch! In my opinion a primarch should be measured by his ability to lead his sons not his combat abilitys and Lorgar can lead!
Agreed, but we talking chaos here. Strength is the only thing most chaos players respect. And if u have shown to be lacking...it would bite you back.
Well last time i checked the lord of a legion (that still works like a legion and that hasnt splintered like the rest) is strong! Not to mention he is a psyker aswell!
To many times books have shown the weak side of the legion. Humiliation on Monarchia,, Corax wooping our asses on Istvaan V, Calth (Story was complicated for simple readers, so most of them only understood, that word bearers lost there). Also, again, the general reputation as the guys, who talk alot and dont fight to much is a thing too. As I said. Warriors dont like priests.
Well truly, Lorgar now is probably the most powerful of the primarchs given his utter devotion to all four gods. In fact, I'd wager he's the most powerful of all Space Marines alive (Even though he's probably more Daemon than Marine now) But it takes a lot to change someones point of view. Especially as Sergoros said, they're more focussed on spreading Chaos than fighting for it.
Just because what makes them special isnt as obvious as in other legions doesnt mean it isnt there(A nice example is one of the WB leaders in Deathfire, the seargent i think)! And really if people condemn the WB for some battles that happened 8-9 k years ago i dont know what to say anymore!
